Located on Bunker Hill, close to Civic Center, the large concert halls and museums such as the MOCA, Omni has the class and the glamour of the Belle Epoque. This 17-storey property underwent a large renovation in 2010 to give the day its 453 rooms. The view from the highest floors is fantastic, especially the rooms overlooking California Plaza and the futuristic architecture of the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The room was clean and comfortable.

This youth hostel is ideally located in a quiet street overlooking the Hollywood Boulevard. Many museums and historic sites are less than a-minute walk away, as well as the red subway line that connects North Hollywood to Downtown. The corner is also rich in shops: souvenir shops, clothing, supermarkets… You don't feel like staying in a hostel in this pretty home house (which is rather rare in this neighborhood where buildings dominate the landscape!), but rather to stay in an individual.

Warmly recommended. As its name indicates, this grand charm, crépi of pink, just steps away from Sunset, has a hotel and surrounding villas. It presents itself as a village, with its courses, its ancient paved paths of brick, its groves of banana trees, its two swimming pools, its lawns and pottery. The 102 rooms (junior and normal) are located in the main building, but we recommend, if you have the means, one of the 40 villas planted in the vast and lush garden, authentic houses with beautiful fireplace and very thick carpeting. The most important thing is the spirit of the place. A delicious terrace facing a swimming pool, an informal but very comfortable restaurant serves simple cuisine. In a beautiful Victorian house of 1887, the Hoyman family reserves the best welcome to its guests. We love the authentic style of the house and rooms decorated in the tradition of the time. Without forgetting all the little details and attention that make the stay even more pleasant: a nice selection of free-access organic teas, pastries offered at the time of tea, elegantly prepared tables for breakfast, free access to the swimming pool, patio, lounge and library. It would be almost hard to leave its neighbourhoods to go to tourism.

Janis Joplin died from an overdose here, Chamber 105. Since then, it has been as if time had stopped in this outdated little hotel, located in a quiet corner of the old Hollywood with its wooden houses and gardens. The 70 rooms have TV, air conditioning and telephone. Swimming pool. Free Wi-Fi in the lobby. A strategic place to enjoy the neighborhood.

A small Inn with 16 well located rooms close to the beautiful Zuma Beach. A perfect place for hiking on the coast or hiking in the hinterland. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you can, ask for one of the two suites with a Jacuzzi and a private patio. The other rooms have a view of the ocean (the must), the garden or patio and remain fairly calm. The outside of the hotel is reminiscent of the architecture of Cape Cod on the East Coast of the United States. The restaurant Kristy's is located in the hotel and avoids taking the car to recover. Good value for money.

The Palihotel is above all a spirit. This address is part of a triptych of hotels held by the same group. It is distinguished by its retro-vintage decor with deer woods to the wall, dimpled velvet sofas and metal chairs, bulbs whose incandescent wire illuminates blue oil paint, all of which are covered by the walls of the hotel. Stacks of books arranged here and there take part in the place of the place. The hotel's restaurant, The Hart and the Hunter, also makes the hotel proud.

This hotel with a cylindrical architecture, bordered by Autoroute 405, seems to have been released from a science fiction film. It is a high-class hotel where for once the staff is not too intrusive while remaining courteous. The hotel restaurant is frequented by Indian and Pakistani cuisine enthusiasts. An interesting address if you want to enjoy the luxury of Beverly Hills without going to a palace.

The decoration, which was blocked in the 1980 s, certainly leaves to be desired but the place is simply magical, just at the foot of the ocean. Breakfast, free, is enough to allow you to go hiking for 3:30 a. m. around the island without feeling a little hollow. 

Located in a quiet and cottage street of Beverly Hills, just a few metres from the bustle of Wilshire Boulevard, Maison 140 impresses with its human size and intimate atmosphere. The decor is signed by the Queen of interior decoration on the west coast: Kelly Wearstler. There is an unexpected mix between the Parisian style of the th century and the Asian style. The building dates back to 1930 and served as a place of residence to Lillian Gish, one of the greatest silent film stars.

The rooms are spacious and bright. The young team is in small care with its clients.

A beautiful hotel in this idyllic setting of the Marina. We could almost touch the hulls of pleasure boats from the pool edge. The rest of the hotel and customer service correspond to the luxury standards of the Ritz Group. The rooms are a little small but the view from the individual terraces (if you choose the rooms side Marina) will delight you.
