80-room boutique hotel with pool, terrace and restaurant in Los Angeles
Located in West Hollywood, a stone's throw from Santa Monica Boulevard and its lively nightlife - such as The Abbey Food & Bar - the Petit Ermitage is nevertheless quietly situated. It's a boutique hotel with 80 rooms, a swimming pool, a terrace and a restaurant, all set in a flowery, romantic setting. As for the rooms, they are decorated with taste and character: thick-framed paintings stand alongside old-fashioned fireplaces, while the tables look as if they've just come out of an antique shop. A superb address!

I unfortunately had a very poor experience. I visited the club straight from LAX - it was recommended to me by my home club in London. From the moment we arrived we were very poorly tended too. It was a really embarrassing experience to bring our guests to this establishment. Not the level of service expected from a 4 star hotel.

Cozy, eccentric. Lovely.

One of the rare hotels with the coziest rooftop setting, yet it has elegant and classy design but average quality rooms. Overall, it was a happy experience!

The best. My only hold up is I don’t want to make it too popular. But love the experience curated and all the wonderful people that contribute to be very special.

The rooftop area is nice - though the pool is tiny. Staff on the rooftop repeatedly went out of their way to avoid serving hotel guests, and prioritised the local members who hang out here. When they finally decided to serve us, they refused to do so until we provided a credit card, despite reception pre charging my debit card for $1,000 to cover incidentals/ bar purchases. We settled up all bar tabs on a daily basis and were assured we would receive the $1k returned to my debit card immediately at check out. 3 days, 5 emails, 4 calls, documentary evidence from my card provider clearly showing the hotel is the sole party responsible for processing the refund, and multiple requests to speak with the GM (matched by front office staff advising there isn’t a GM or anyone in charge!!!) and still no sign of my money!!!!
Seems the location is the only thing going for this hotel.
