After 15 years of experience in hotels and restaurants abroad, Chef Rahul Mark Barua has created a menu with the Asian specialties of each country: North Indian specialties, pad thai, Indonesian nasi goreng, Tibetan momos and thentuk, Chinese dishes... Without forgetting to revisit the classics of Assamese cuisine, such as pork curry. The dishes are copious and very well presented. It's a pity that the setting is a bit plain.

The Beatrix was born in 1992. What was just a small fast food restaurant opened by Rupa Barwan in his garage quickly became a must-see place in the city. This brand new canteen opened in January 2019. The beautiful round wrought iron door opens onto a courtyard where the restaurant is located. The menu, reduced, offers burgers, kathi rolls (filled chapati), pizzas at the right prices. And it's especially delicious. On the other hand, if you have a delicate palate, remember to specify "not spicy" when ordering, otherwise you risk shedding all the tears in your body. We like the relaxed atmosphere, the freshness of the products and the simple and windy setting.
