Among Chef Anna Sinagra's specialities, we will note his paccheri to calamari and cherry tomatoes on eggplant cream, his thousand-sheet to swordfish and tomatoes, capers and olives, or his black chocolate cake 70% and conference pears topped with hazelnut foam. The wine list is of quality.

To choose from, you can lean towards gnocchetti with fennel, deliciously original, pasta with sea urchins, pasta with fresh crab, monkfish, grouper ravioli.

Within the Hotel Sicilia, this restaurant, which has existed since 1960, is an institution. It has a large and bright room. Of course, the cuisine is Sicilian, served copiously. We recommend the "earthy" menu, with meats from the island's interior that change from the fish dishes of the coast, including the unmistakable house specialty: wild boar chops from the Nebrodi Mountains, in a red wine sauce. We like the piano bar atmosphere here, which changes restaurants without a musical atmosphere. Good wine list, terrace and even garden.

At the foot of the famous staircase, a nice trattoria with a typical but very contemporary cuisine, in a tourist site, but not a tourist trap. The air-conditioned room is of course nicely decorated with ceramics, but we recommend the outside terrace to admire the stairs. The pizzas are very good thanks to a yeast that makes them very digestible, some of them include pistachios in their composition. The pasta is tasty, the seared tuna is delicious, the prices are reasonable, a rarity in this privileged spot.

This small and typical family trattoria, in the heart of the old town, offers excellent quality Sicilian cuisine based on fish. Coming here is a bit like dining with a local family, as the mamma at the stove is as active as at home. The spaghetti al limone or the pappardelle alla marinara are delicious and a change from the specialities of the coast. Fresh homemade pasta prepared with love, fresh products and an irreproachable welcome make it a good little address for those who visit the charming town of Piazza Armerina.

Real Italian style room, frequented by regulars both inside and outside on a large terrace. Family atmosphere and remarkable service. Pizza is also served (in the evening only). Really very affordable considering the quality of the dishes. We particularly like the high quality antipasti buffet, the pasta with Bronte pistachios, the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, a delight! The pizzas are also excellent, with a fine and crispy dough. It is strongly recommended to book at weekends and on football nights... To be seen!

A family restaurant in the heart of the old town. The table offers six menus of local cuisine (Proserpina, Ennese, vegetarian, central, fish, etc.), some of which include an excellent antipasti buffet, perfect for a taste of everything! We recommend the maccarruna alla castrugiuannisa, an ancient dish prepared with a sweet pork and cocoa sauce called "u'sciabbò".
