TIPICO BONAO

Americas Caribbean cuisine

What a charming discovery, along the highway some 4 km north of the exit for Bonao. You are welcomed into a real tepee with a purely Dominican menu. The sancocho is one of the best we know, the tripe soup will delight giblet lovers and the appetizer croquettes (crab, chicken, shrimp) are exquisite. The restaurant is always bursting at the seams, and all the products, meat and fish alike, are impeccably fresh. A very fine address for a motorway stopover. Secure parking.

MONCARLO

Americas Caribbean cuisine €€

In just a few years, this bar-restaurant has become Constanza's most chic venue. You'll be greeted by an oversized chandelier worthy of the Côte d'Azur's palaces - the name says it all! The imposing venue features a number of different areas (bar, restaurant, terrace, private lounges), all in a modern, elegant style. International specialties, Creole dishes and pizzas are served. We recommend the Moncarlo pastelitos as an appetizer - a real treat! Karaoke on Tuesdays. Professional service and calm atmosphere.

SUPER CAFETERIA LA TINAJA

Americas Caribbean cuisine

This is the landmark of Jarabacoa. You often hear people say "See you at La Tinaja", in Spanish of course. Open to the street, this café-restaurant is always busy. In the morning, workers and hikers meet for an excellent coffee and a hearty breakfast, ideal to start the day on the right foot. In the evening, it's the place to be for an aperitif. In short, a central and unavoidable address for all those who will spend a few days in Jarabacoa.
