Operating since 2003 in the region of Pueto Plata, on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, the Clúster Turístico del Destino Puerto Plata (CTDPP) is a consortium of public institutions and private companies working to boost sustainable tourism in the area. The internet portal of the association lists useful information for the discovery of the Dominican oceanic coast, but also about twenty hotels, villas and tourist apartments particularly recommendable (site in Spanish and English).
