If you're in French Guiana at the moment, don't hesitate to visit the Tourism Fair! The Palais Régional Omnisports Georges Théolade is the venue for all the major players in the tourism industry, so you'll have plenty of ideas for outings, excursions and visits. Many Guyanese also take part, as there are several games open to all, with prizes to be won (excursions, plane tickets, etc.). There are also typical food stands on site. The show celebrated its ^20th anniversary in 2018.
