LES CAVES DE ROSEL
Read moreIt's still a favourite! A cellar in the countryside, nestled in an undergrowth. A stone house, a stream, a small bridge... We linger before passing the wrought iron door. The cachet of the place is as much admired as the number of bottles wisely lined up. An eye on the calvados, rums and whiskies with 500 labels. A stop in front of the 5,500 references of wines, classified by region. The Coleaux family is able to tell you about each bottle. And we let you discover the treasure that lies under your feet!
LA CAVE MER VIGNE
Read moreA witty place for smart drinkers! Julien cherishes his cellar, housed in a 1960s-style former garage. A visit to his den is a real experience: 700 references, with a slight penchant for Languedoc! We love the special offers, the weekend wines, the invaluable advice and the reasonable prices. The Norman terroir is showcased: Roger Groult's Réserve Ancestrale (served at the Élysée Palace, please!), Père Jules, cider from Jocelyne and Pascal Breton (well and truly Norman!)... These are just a few of the delicacies you'll want to try.

LA CAVE CHAI SEB
Read moreHe fell into a Château Gloria at the age of 16 and made it his profession-passion! Sébastien, the enlightened owner of this cellar, shares with us his favourite sin. Trained at the same school as the well-known John Coleaux, sommelier-caviste in Rosel, Seb opened a place that he wants to be atypical and endearing. A cellar that hosts wine, beer, whisky and of course calvados tastings. An evening, on the first Friday of the month, allows everyone to get together for a time of discovery. Boards complete this moment of exchange and make Chai Seb a bit of a home.

VINADOM
Read moreBeware! It is not a merchant like the others: first of all because Pierre-Henri Lemessier does not have a cellar as such and then because the spirit in which he works deserves a little attention to his case. Vinadom offers wines from independent wine growers all regions, but also champagnes and other local products. Pierre-Henri is passionate and it is this passion that he wants to share with you in dénichant products that you may never have known. Individuals, professionals, assoces or C.E. Everyone can contact him. Moreover, you can also cross Pierre-Henri on certain markets in the region, including Bayeux on Saturday morning. So, go to the site, not only will you have a more concrete idea of what it proposes, but there are plenty of information, such as the agreements and wines… except that, in this case, it is a question of giving it to the wine! Fun! Let's add to this the kindness of Pierre-Henri who thanks to Vinadom offers an excellent hyphen between the producer and the consumer.
CAVE SAINT-ÉTIENNE
Read moreHere, we don't say "drink wine", we say "taste". Wines and spirits are elevated to the rank of sanctity, and believe us, quality is no joke! Stéphane and Guillaume have a long-standing passion for surprising your taste buds, whatever your budget! La Cave Saint Etienne also organises tasting courses to help your palate fully appreciate the different crus. And these are just a few of the many services they offer!
CAVE ROUGE ET BLANC
Read moreThis cellar is an address that knows how to delight lovers of organic and biodynamic wines. The place is run by Ronan, and Ronan knows his way around a bottle. Even though he's young, he's got it! It has to be said that he cut his teeth as a sommelier at Saquana (a 2-star restaurant in Honfleur). And yet, it's all in simplicity, but not without passion, that he tells you all about his wines and their growers, and uncovers some lovely nuggets for you. His shelves are also stocked with spirits, local beers, ciders, perries, and calvados. Tastings are also available.

LA CAVE MUZARD
Read moreOur friendly wine merchant has a passion for wine - wines - and also for beers, calvados, ciders, pommeau... Jean-Philippe loves good things. A pleasure that he shares with his customers for a tasting. He will know how to scare whisky lovers with his references from all over the world and seduce the unconditional fans of home brewed beer. His little touch: he doesn't pack the bottles in a box, but in a "bourriche"! That's a nice touch! Moral, if you come across a crate...
TERRES DE RAISIN - CAVE & CANTINE
Read moreThis winery plays the natural game, and we like it! With over 300 references, the cellar gives pride of place to organic, biodynamic, and natural wines. It's a real choice, as is the one to highlight French spirits! François also offers wine-tasting evenings and afterworks so you can enjoy his selection of wines on the spot. You can even take advantage of his surprising terrace nestled at the foot of the Abbaye aux Hommes to enjoy a fine vintage and seasonal tapas. You can even privatize it for family events or an evening out with friends.

NICOLAS
Read moreEveryone knows Nicolas - but did you know that the house Nicolas is one of France's first wineries and that Nicolas on Rue Bellivet has over 60 years? For the moment, Alain and Martine, the owners, are remarkably well-preserved… No, in fact, they have only been there since 1995! This is still a pretty career. Alain has an oenological background and mentors the future managers of Nicolas. His advice is simple: Do not hesitate to send you to the competitor if they don't have what you need and do not stick a bottle out of price for a barbecue between friends. Instead, he proposes the rosé of harvesting that he keeps at the expense for last-minute purchases (he has white and champagnes also). Besides, between two bottles, we spotted our Norman wine Les Arpents du Soleil… We feel we're dealing with good people! They offer you a gift box when needed, and if you get a scooter, we love it! We also love customers talking about Nicolas (the day we came, it was an ex-Parisian) as they would talk about an uncle or a good friend. That means everything…
JAMARD CAVE ET EPICERIE FINE
Read moreWe like to see the reputation of beautiful wineries confirmed and this one is one of them. Its array of wines and silky nectars is complemented by a delicatessen section. The fresh section is also there to give you ideas with a selection of cheeses, antipasti, tapas and charcuterie. A bit out of the way from Caen, this cellar is nevertheless a reference in the city. Professionals buy their supplies there and it didn't take long for us to follow suit. A piece of advice: take a big shopping basket, you won't come out empty-handed!
LE CAVEAU NORMAND
Read moreThis cellar is one of the oldest shops on Rue de la Mer and you will be warmly welcomed. At the door, you will succumb to the impressive choice of wines, beers, whiskies, rums, and, of course, more local drinks like calvados, cider, and pommeau, well placed on the shelves. Here, among the best selections, you will find the wine of Calvados country (IGP, please), Les Arpents du Soleil, produced about forty kilometers from Ouistreham, near Saint Pierre-sur-Dives. Jean-Claude, the owner and faithful counselor of the house, will be able to guide you. A visit is required if you want to accompany your seafood tray with dignity, your freshly bought fish, or simply discover the wine of the month and other finds of the moment.
