Known for its Segway tours, the great team of Com'on Gyro has launched into the rental of bikes and scooters! The whole, all-terrain and electric to enjoy the suggested rides. In addition to the fun, silent and easy-to-handle machines, the team has concocted routes to discover the most beautiful sites of the Côte de Nacre. Equipped with a GPS and a helmet, on your scooter with big wheels or on the handlebars of your bike, you will take safe routes from Caen or Lion-sur-Mer, punctuated with spots to be immortalized!

A setting made of water and greenery, on the site of a former clay quarry. In this outdoor leisure park, Éole promises sensational activities: water ski lift, body jump (10 to 26 m long ramps!), paintball (on reservation), 13 zip lines, acrobatic course in the forest, without forgetting the aquapark and its inflatable water games. Extra! You can recover from your emotions along the pleasant footpaths, along the quarry faces, or at the table, facing the lake, in the new brasserie open at noon all year long.

Since its reopening in September 2021, the skating rink has embraced modernity and adapted to the new to welcome its 90,000 annual visitors. Children under 4 can rent skates or skateboards on site. People with reduced mobility can also enjoy the track in their wheelchairs! Please note: pants and gloves are mandatory. This Olympic rink is also the training and competition venue for the ACSEL figure skating club and the Drakkars field hockey club. Come and cheer them on!

Colleville-sur-Mer is famous for its beach, Omaha Beach, where the Allies landed on June 6, 1944. It is also here, on the cliffs, that the American military cemetery can be found. Colleville Beach, which extends for nearly 7 km, is shared with two other municipalities going west, Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer and Vierville-sur-Mer. At low tide, the vast expanse of sand allows the practice of sand yachting, and offers beautiful walks to contemplate the sea.

Proposes 4 circuits walks: the mills, the heart of mother, between Seulles and Mue, between Orne and Canal. 4 circuits discovered: Landing beaches, Abbaye Mondaye Abbey, eel route and Houlgate.

Although Honfleur is a city of culture and history, there is nothing to stop you from relaxing for an hour or two at mini-golf. An activity that will undoubtedly appeal to the youngest, especially since its beautification in 2018. The 18-hole course has been completely redesigned and decorated with miniature wooden Honfleurais and Norman monuments (the Sainte-Catherine bell tower, the Normandy bridge or Claude Monet's bust), as well as panels presenting points of culture and heritage of the city. Another new feature for children aged 3 to 10 is a small mini-karting circuit with real traffic signs to help them learn the rules of the road.

Three kilometers of fine sand make up the beautiful beach of Asnelles, with its long seawall inviting you to take a stroll. On the horizon, the remains of the Winston d'Arromanches port. A beauty that continues to stir in a place that suffered the tragedies of June 1944. Offshore, some thirty Phoenix caissons, witnesses to the past, originally numbered 115. The beach is also famous for sand yachting. Sport and history come together! As for gourmets, they'll love visiting La Calvadosienne's oyster beds.

The point of Bayeux, used from the th century, is an art that Chantal James masters beautifully and teaches during her courses and embroidery courses. It reproduces scenes of the famous Tapestry, but not only, since Chantal applies the technique to other, more contemporary media. In its shop-shop you will find embroidery kits representing scenes of the Bayeux Tapestry (some of them 1 m!), kits on other themes and of course threads, drums, needles… As follows: it is possible to order via its website.

Hervé, head instructor at the paragliding school, says it himself: "Watch out for the virus, because we're completely infected...". So you've been warned: if you take a first paragliding flight with Plaine Altitude, you're in for a repeat offence! The team of instructors - Hervé, Samuel, Maxime, Philippe, Évelyse, Dorian and Emma - is as dynamic as it is passionate. Not to mention the general good humour and confidence-building that are essential for a successful flight. For thrill-seekers, the aptly named "Sensations" baptism is recommended; for the less daring, the more contemplative "Découverte" formula seems more appropriate. But when you know that the school gives wings even to those who are usually confined to an armchair, you'll soon forget your apprehensions. There's even a Baby Fly for toddlers! "A moment of wonder in complete safety". From a simple introductory flight, it's a natural progression to a training course: initiation, improvement, aerobatics or piloting, depending on your level, there's something to suit all tastes and desires. As an added bonus, Plaine Altitude boasts one of the most beautiful paragliding sites in France: the ridges of the Suisse Normande region... The school has been established for over 20 years on the heights of Clécy, in an enchanting setting overlooking the valley. Let the winds carry you over these breathtaking landscapes - you won't be disappointed!

The course, on the seafront, invites you to a world tour in 18 holes! A unique journey that we owe to Jean-Marc and his family. In the bar, the photos attest to these three generations (since 1956) of passionate and inventive mini-golfers. The terrace above the bar offers an unobstructed view of the course, the beach, and the trawler's cabin where the ticket office has been installed. Laughter guaranteed in this Cabourg institution, almost a historical monument!

It's so nice to be able to swim in the open air, summer and winter, in this beautiful and almost brand new Olympic pool! The same goes for the diving pit. For those who are not so keen, the 25-meter indoor pool with its eight lanes and the activity hall with educational pools are ideal for both athletes and swimmers. There is a choice of aquagym, swimming with flippers, baby swimming and lessons against aquaphobia. Solarium and bubble bath are also available!

A charming port of call, Honfleur's seaport is divided into three basins, including the Vieux Bassin reserved for pleasure boats. The port also welcomes old riggings. With a capacity of 50 berths, including more than 30 visitor berths, the Vieux Bassin is accessible via a lock for boats less than 14 metres long. One of the particularities of this port is that it is both maritime and fluvial, given its location in the Seine estuary, between the river and the sea.

Bright and dapper - it was completely renovated 4 years ago - the Chemin Vert municipal swimming pool is located in a quiet neighbourhood. Schoolchildren come here on weekdays, but there are a few slots for the public, early in the morning, usually at lunchtime and in the late afternoon. Private and group swimming lessons for children and adults are organised, as well as a wide range of activities: baby swimming, aquagym, prenatal swimming, aquajogging, aquaphobia courses, swimming with flippers, aquabike... At weekends, it's the place to be for families in a very friendly atmosphere.

Do you want to have fun and drive this little go-kart? Unique in Normandy, the Caen Karting awaits you. Flaming tracks, beautiful grandstand, club house with terrace in the summer, open all week long and possible nights: it's for sure, you'll camp there! To make you feel like it, we'll explain the tracks to you: the Monaco, to have fun on 550 m of asphalt at the wheel of 270 cc vehicles; the Monza for the initiated, 800 m to be covered on board of 390 cc cars; and the Jaussaud, 1,100 m long, guaranteed sensations!

Open since 2012, Aquanacre remains an architectural, ecological and innovative success. In terms of equipment, this 4,000 m² complex is very complete. The aquatic area delights the youngest with its paddling pool, its play pool (with geysers and swimming against the current!), its huge four-lane slide and its new 70-metre tubular slide. For experienced swimmers, the sports pool awaits you. Then, the outdoor pool, heated to 30°C all year round (in Normandy, it's better!), makes its little effect.

8 km from Vire, a 43 ha lake (swimming prohibited) for fishing and water sports activities. These are offered from March to November by the leisure centre: windsurfing, catamaran, rowing, kayaking, pedal boats and paddleboard... Ask for information at the MJC of Vire. Also on site, several hiking trails, including a 6 km trail that allows you to walk around the lake, as well as a 10 ha bird sanctuary that allows you to observe no less than 86 species of animals (ducks, coots, snipes, grebes...). Let's go green!

Energetic stopover for escape seekers! A visit to the D-Day landing beaches is always an emotional experience, and thanks to Aurélien and Valentin, it's one that goes hand in hand with sporting thrills. Our duo offers free or accompanied quad rides: one hour with a photo stop, two hours to the cliffs of Tracy-sur-Mer, the artificial harbour and the battery at Longues-sur-Mer, or three hours with a visit to the American cemetery at Omaha Beach. A welcome without fuss, days full of surprises and good humour.
