Cutlery was born in the early ^19th century in Thiers, thanks to Philippe Sabatier, the man behind the brand's success. Our kitchen knives are entirely forged from a single piece of Z50C13 steel. They are manufactured exclusively in Thiers using traditional techniques. In addition to a wide range of kitchen knives, Sabatier also offers table knives, pocket knives, hunting knives, etc. Sabatier cutlery is also famous for its Brin d'Auvergne, a pocket knife whose back blade reproduces the relief of the Puys mountain range.

A top-of-the-range pocket knife, the Cellois shone in 2018 by winning the first Coutellia prize. It was a great spotlight on its creator, Nathalie Robin, co-manager of the workshop. Nathalie first learned from her husband Stéphane, who comes from a long line of cutlers, and who had won third place in the same competition in 2015. She then joined him in the arts and crafts adventure. Together, they have developed a range of sturdy knives, yet with a fine design reminiscent of Celtic lines, and where each piece is unique.

This boutique is the culmination of a long-held dream: to turn her hobby into a full-time activity. As well as selling her creations, she organizes introductory ceramics workshops.
