BEACHES
Read moreBeyond the pebble beach of the port, you can easily reach on foot the five beaches of the surroundings.
Towards the north, on the other side of the port, Vardia is a pretty bay, one of the longest on the island, but it is very exposed to the wind so avoid meltemi days. It is accessible by a staircase and you will find small pebbles and some rare trees. Towards the south, three beaches follow one another: Latinaki, Vitsentsou and Pountaki.
