Former colonial house of the th century that Luca, a francophone lover of the city and his trade, renovated. A few blocks from the Central Parque and close to the pedestrian Street «La Calzada» where the owner has two restaurants. A total of 11 rooms and an apartment, all equipped with a private bathroom with WC, good orthopaedic mattresses, air conditioning and fan, TV and free Wi-Fi. The duplex apartment has a kitchenette, a living room and a bedroom. A good address like you like, relaxed, clean and cheap.

At this price, on the beach, it's a good deal. The rooms are simple but decent, and open onto a porch where hammocks are hung. The atmosphere may be a little bleak compared with the hotels that follow, but the price makes all the difference! Only breakfast is available on site. For a bite to eat, consider the equally rustic comedor next door. Occasional Wi-Fi in public areas. Bikes and scooters can be rented in the surrounding area. Nice view of the beach and close to the bus stop

An aberration. The rooms have been arranged in spite of common sense, so a couple can be found in large rooms too luxurious to be pleasant on such a relaxed island (carpets, etc.), with other beds (one would think in a dormitory). No charm and extra prices. The restaurant is in the tone. Shame, the site deserved better. In the meantime, the institution has "biological" only the name, since nothing seems to confirm its ecological provisions. This is at least the starting point to arrive at the San Ramón waterfall.

This small hotel has six rooms for 2-3 people, each with its own bathroom (fans only, no air-conditioning), as well as a shared kitchen and a lovely little garden. Decoration is minimal, but that also explains the very affordable price. The owner, Danilo, is very friendly and can help you organize your stay on the island. Very well located, close to restaurants, shops and the port of Moyogalpa. Please note: payment in cash only, and no breakfast available.

A beautiful, colorful and well-maintained youth hostel, a twenty-minute walk from the center of Moyogalpa. It comprises 4 eight-bed dormitories, each with its own locker and lamp. The top floor features a bar, kitchen and even a bubble bath! All with a breathtaking view of the lake. The friendly staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have. A young, trendy atmosphere. Bananas and chillies are grown on site. A must on the island.

Beautiful little wooden houses in the middle of nature, from where you can enjoy incredible views of the Concepción volcano. Dormitories, private rooms with and without bathroom. A hearty breakfast is also available for US$4.50. You can rent scooters (from US$15 a day) and bicycles to explore this pretty corner of the island. Try to spot birds (parrots, hummingbirds...). The owners are very welcoming and organize guided volcano ascents, as well as various other tours and activities.
