Housed in a period house with a touch of vintage decor, this busy little restaurant has a lovely patio. You can enjoy the delicious homemade bread (the chef is a self-taught baker who learned about bread-making during a trip to Paris) with an omelette and coffee for breakfast, or a great wood-fired pizza for late risers. Also hearty salads, sandwiches, a hamburger. Not to be missed before or after visiting the village.

Los Equipales is an excellent address for those who want to treat themselves to hearty international cuisine: lobsters, steaks, pork chops... For breakfast too, you can expect a wide choice of egg dishes, cereals, pancakes, chilaquiles and fresh fruit juices. Meals are taken upstairs, with a nice view of the city and some fresh air to accompany the margaritas... or the strong morning coffee. There is a very pleasant family atmosphere and the owners are charming.

The restaurant is situated in the area known as Terrazas de Mendoza, near plages.

This small family restaurant serves a delicious and authentic cuisine of central Mexico, rather original given the location. We hesitate between the carnitas, the enchiladas with mole or the chile relleno. The meat dishes do not disappoint either. The tables are arranged in a pretty shaded patio, where they serve a whole bunch of margaritas with intoxicating flavours; a charming address. Impeccable welcome and service. Live music on some evenings.

This is the oldest restaurant in the "Revu", having opened in 1927. It is located in the hotel of the same name. The setting of this old-fashioned brasserie is very elegant (chequered floor tiles, wood panelling) and the dishes are sophisticated. It is said that the famous Caesar salad was invented here by a group of airplane pilots who prepared their meal by mixing leftovers from the fridge. Today, it is still the specialty of the house. A waiter comes to prepare the salad in front of you. Quite impressive!

This restaurant has an incredible charm. Located in one of the oldest houses in the village, it offers an incredible view of the oasis and the ocean. Its green roof terrace is illuminated after dark. As for the cuisine, it revisits Mexican classics with heart and generosity: sopa de tortilla, cochinita pibil, arrachera and vegetarian options, not to mention the fish a la veracruzana. There's plenty to choose from between the meat dishes, fish plates and vegetarian options.

We love this garden full of peonies, chrysanthemums and lilies of the valley. Seated in front of a rural landscape that evokes childhood memories and sweet moments, we enjoy the freshness of seasonal foods from the garden. Onion soups, salads prepared with a myriad of ingredients, pesto ravioli, fish of the day and thin crust pizzas are served. The products are organic and fair trade, but the prices are reasonable. The main thing is that you leave the restaurant with a feeling of having eaten healthy!

This is a nice little rustic style restaurant, with a wooden interior. You'll eat with your feet in the sand! The place has been serving good seafood and meat dishes for about 30 years. Don't miss the delicious lobster, served whole with butter and lemon... You'll want to try it again. It is also the headquarters of the agency of the same name, which organizes excursions to observe whales and discover rock paintings.

An excellent address which, although it doesn't look like much, is ideal for a simple and copious dinner and is as well frequented by locals as foreigners. The speciality is grilled meat, accompanied by homemade tortilla (rare enough on the peninsula to be noted). The menu also includes burritos, stuffed potatoes and a molcajete (stone bowl) that is a must-try. Your mouth is watering as you watch the cooks busy themselves in the small open kitchen, not to mention the smell... Timeless in Loreto, and often crowded.

It is the restaurant of the village which has the best location: it is caressed by the breeze from morning to evening and faces the turquoise sea. On the menu, of course, fish and seafood have pride of place. Fish fillets come in a variety of flavours, as do the unmissable tacos, some of which are even made with meat. For a lighter meal, you can fall back on the salads. The service is a bit slow at times, but instead of grumbling, you can always take advantage of the wait to admire the view...
