This regional airline serves Baja California with its small Cessna aircraft, and connects the states of Sonora and Sinaloa. From Guerrero Negro, you can fly to Ensenado, Guaymas and Hermosillo (Sonora), with a few flights per week to these destinations. There are also flights to Isla Cedros, famous for fishing and where the port for loading salt for export is located. Flights are operated from the Guerrero Negro regional airport, 10 kilometers north of the city.

Guaymas, in Sonora, offers a privileged ferry passage to Santa Rosalia. In principle, there are departures from Santa Rosalia several times a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays at 8:30 am and on Sundays at 8 pm (not bad for saving a night's stay). There may be changes depending on the weather. The crossing takes quite a long time: you spend the night or the day on the boat and you arrive in Guaymas 10 hours later. It is possible to make the crossing with a car or a motorcycle, but it costs more ($3,200 and $1,520).

These buses, which only serve La Paz, are located in Calle Leona Vicario and 16 of Septiembre.

The ABC company ensures most of the connections with the cities of the area: Tijuana (1 hour 30 of way) and Mexicali (3 hours 30). Its comfortable buses also serve the south of the peninsula. To avoid waiting on the spot (many locals buy their tickets directly at the ticket office), we recommend that you make your reservation in advance, on the ABC company's website or on a dedicated reservation site. There are few shops on site, so take some provisions with you.

The airport is only about 10 km from the Centro. From the airport, the trip costs about $300 and takes less than 20 minutes. It serves La Paz, Loreto and San José del Cabo in Baja California; the north of the country (Monterrey, Los Mochis, Ciudad Juárez, Zacatecas), the center (Mexico City, Puebla, Morelia), the south (Cancún, Oaxaca) and the Pacific coast (Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta). Offers departures every hour for the United States. Distances: Tijuana is 40 km from San Diego, 217 km from Los Angeles, 775 km from San Francisco and 1 365 km from Denver. Greyhound Station is located on the American side of the border, although buses also leave the Central Camionera of Lázaro Cardenas Avenue.

It can take you to Rosarito (2 hours drive), Ensenada (10 hours), La Paz (11 hours), Tijuana (11 hours). To go south, it is still and always the company Autotransportes Aguila.

This is the main airport in Baja California. In addition to the companies Aeromexico, Interjet, Volaris and Vivaaerobus that serve a large number of Mexican cities (Mexico City, Tijuana, Guadalajara, Toluca and Monterrey), there are also many flights from the USA: California, Phoenix, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Salt Lake City, etc. The price of a cab to San Lucas or San José varies between 700 and 1,700 US$. This is the most convenient way to reach Baja California if you also want to transport your vehicle (it will cost you extra). The ferries leave from Mazatlán and Topolobampo, in Sinaloa.The crossing is at night and you can choose between comfortable, but simple seats or a cabin trip with a bunk bed. Departure days are extremely volatile depending on the season, but are generally on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Call before booking to confirm.

Its buses depart from the Mercado Francisco Madero, between Revolucion and Degollado. Destination: Todos Santos, San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas.

Here is a local company that offers air taxi services, charters and tourist flights throughout the peninsula (Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, Loreto, Santa Rosalia, Ciudad Constitución, Guerrero Negro). This is very convenient for travelers in a hurry, but also sometimes more economical than the bus! The company also serves several destinations on the Pacific coast (from Puerto Vallarta to Guacaymas in Sonora, passing through Sinaloa), as well as the cities of Tijuana, Chihuahua and Guadalajara.

This organization can take you or organize various trips throughout the Baja California peninsula (mountains, sea and desert), always as close as possible to nature and animal species, with the aim of limiting the impact of visits on the environment. This bus station is a major transport hub. About fifteen bus companies go to and from it. Buses run all over the country, including the nearby states of Sonora and Chihuahua, as well as Mexico City, the capital. ABC (www.abc.com.mx) and Águila (www.autotransportesaguila.com) are two companies that serve the peninsula. Greyhound serves several destinations in the United States.
