This large center is dedicated to crafts and creations of Dominican origin. It houses an art gallery that exhibits the works of the famous painter Guillermo Perez: energetic and colorful paintings and serigraphs. The jewelry corner offers a collection of amber and larimar jewelry, sold with certificates of origin; there is also a collection of clothing, candles, sculptures. The rums are represented by the brands Barcelo, Colombus, and the Haitian rum Barbancourt. A cigar cellar offers local brands.

As with all national parks, access to Parque Nacional del Este (or Parque Nacional Cotubanamá) requires authorization from the General Directorate of Parks in Santo Domingo (if you are going alone, bring a motorcycle or a 4x4, as the trail is in poor condition). It is also possible to get there by participating in a tour organized by an association or an agency like Padre Nuestro. The latter organizes guided tours of 2 hours to discover the national park: its tropical forest, its butterflies, its birds and its caves.

The walk takes around 40 minutes, and including breaks will take between 1h30 and 2h30. Some local travel agencies include entry to the park coupled with a catamaran excursion at around US$140.

Although public and very beautiful, Playa del Cortecito is rather narrow and densely populated. Nevertheless, you can enjoy many marine activities and dine at one of the beach restaurants.

This public beach is perhaps one of the most unknown in the Punta Cana area. Almost spared by the resorts, it is made of white sand on which there is usually no crowd. This children's theme park has 8 different attractions, including a fun Ford Boyard ride. The theme: the story of a hero who finds a jewel enabling him to travel to occult worlds. The site is designed for a personalized experience, with the creation of your own digital avatar integrated into a wristband, which follows you to each attraction! 3D and 4D cinema, immersive Disney-style experiences... you name it. Several fast-food outlets and restaurants on site. Too bad the price is so high.

Here, we walk along a path in the Cotubanamà National Park between cactus, agave tequileros (those used to make tequila) and local flora. Have you ever bathed in a cave? Well, you will have the opportunity to do it on your way, at the level of the cave called "Chicho" and will be able to admire stalagmites and marine stalactites. Warning: out of respect for the local environment, do not touch anything and avoid spreading sun cream before making a splash! Note that many bats also live in this cave.
