Punta Cana airport is the busiest international airport in the country! It is served by international and charter airlines, domestic Dominican airlines and taxi planes that can be chartered. Air France and Air Caraïbes offer direct flights from and to Paris, Charles de Gaulle and Orly respectively. Whichever resort you have booked at, they all have shuttles that will pick you up. The international airport of pocket is served by Blue Panorama Airlines (Milan, Rome, Verona), Air Transat (Montreal, Quebec, Toronto), Condor (Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich), JetBlue Airways (New York), Miami Air (Miami), and Tui Airways (London) among others, for what concerns the international companies. Some domestic flights also allow to reach the capital (110 km) and other parts of the Dominican Republic. It is also possible to rent small private planes to travel within the country.

Bus and coach

Bus service between the capital and Bávaro-Punta Cana. The buses are comfortable and punctual. Perhaps the best way to travel between the capital and the Bávaro-Punta Cana area. The trip takes three hours and the buses have air conditioning. Perfect if you don't have a car.

Santo Domingo to Bávaro-Punta Cana (the station is located at the intersection of C/ Juan Sánchez Ramírez and Av/ Máximo Gómez): every 2 hours starting at 7:00 am.

Bávaro-Punta Cana to Santo Domingo (the station is located at Cruce de Friusa): every 2 hours from 7:00 am.
