Closed in 1978 for safety reasons, it was reopened 11 years later by André Labarrère, who gave it a serious facelift, including the superb ceiling byMme Lacay-Burato. After a few twists and turns and some final renovations, it reopened its doors in 2016, and this little Italian-style theater is now the prestigious backdrop for Palais's cultural scene. It's true that its 430 seats make it an intimate setting where artists and audiences establish a real closeness, conducive to the emotions that are inevitably at the rendezvous. What a beautiful, lively and magical venue!
