A friendly bar is open on concert evenings. There's also an exhibition room featuring local artists, a multimedia space, and a rehearsal and recording studio. Atabal also offers guitar, bass, drums, singing and keyboard lessons... and a boutique selling bags and T-shirts for souvenirs. A creative city within a city.
LA ROUTE DU SON - LES ABATTOIRS
Read moreA 400-seat venue with a documentation center, four rehearsal rooms, a recording studio and even an artists' residence, the Route du Son is the musical counterpart to the Bel Ordinaire. It is the Centre de Musiques Actuelles de la Communauté d'agglomération Pau Pyrénées. It is run by the musical association L'Ampli, which promotes contemporary music in the south-west of France, as well as by other associations such as ACP, A Tant Rêver du Roi and Pau Concert Production. La Route du Son accompanies initiatives and projects, providing support for production, welcoming musicians, distribution and information.
