Read moreThe couple began their career in an old butcher's shop in the town center, converted into a gallery. They were only just beginning to build on their enthusiasm when fate smiled on them: Yves Brayer, a young Prix de Rome winner, lent them one of his paintings to exhibit. In 1998, the gallery moved to Place Clemenceau in a larger space with 2 activities. "With their gallery and publishing house, Marie-José and Philippe Bouscayrol cultivate the eye and the memory. In fact, they also run a publishing house, and have themselves published some fifteen works. Today, after more than fifteen years, they have one prestigious exhibition after another.
