Loch Lomond Arms is a little bit the heart of the village, with its vast bar that attracts people for a drink as well as for a pub meal. The atmosphere is very traditional, with a fireplace, paintings, bookcases and some sofas. It serves about 50 whiskies and several beers, some from the local Loch Lomond Brewery.

The Portcullis is a popular and friendly pub that used to be a school and has lost its original vocation to say the least... We won't complain about it, because its period interiors and its fireplace are a great place to go for a beer or a bite to eat. The establishment is very popular with locals and tourists alike, as it is located next to the parking lot of the castle. There is something for everyone at any time of the day or night, from freshly ground coffee to a selection of single malts and wi-fi connection.

It is the oldest pub in town, founded in 1733. With its huge stones, vaulted spaces and heating stove, it takes you back in time. Situated below the castle, before the most touristic areas, it is discreet, making it a more confidential address and less taken over by day visitors. We meet a lot of local residents and live music is frequent. You will taste real ales and excellent spirits. The atmosphere is always very friendly and warm.
