There are also various games around the pool, including a slide, swings, table tennis, table soccer and even a refreshment bar. Swimming lessons are available to help you learn to swim or perfect your strokes. All in all, it's a fun, friendly pool that's very popular with local families.

This magnificent loop, which can be split into two or three portions with a number of pleasant variations, gives you a choice. You can opt for a very pleasant, sporty circuit. Or you can take two or three days to discover the area between the hillsides and the Landes de Gascogne. The Cadets de Gascogne circuit starts in Casteljaloux and takes you along picturesque back roads to Ruffiac, Romestaing, Bouglon, Leyritz-Moncassin, Caubeyres and Fargues-sur-Ourbise. The route begins and ends in the forest. In between, it takes in the more rugged terrain of the southern slopes of the Marmandais region, offering sweeping views over the Landes, the Garonne valley and the hills of Marmande, the tomato capital. It's a very rural hike, where you can observe nature and flush out a pheasant or hare as you go. Along the way, you'll come across a number of listed churches and remarkable châteaux, including Malvirade and Moncassin. Few changes in altitude and good road surfaces make this a very pleasant ride, offering you the opportunity in one, two or three days, with a base camp in Casteljaloux, to discover the area in depth, choosing a small restaurant along the way or stopping off at a picnic area for a local snack out of the bag. This hike is characterized by an itinerary that offers some very fine views and is divided into two parts. At the start, there's an out-and-back path that takes you through a wood, past a hedge, then a stream and up the hill. You then take a loop to the Esquerdes church, surrounded by vineyards, woods and orchards. You return along a pine forest. This 8.2 km hike (3h walking, 1h mountain biking) is easy, varied and bucolic.

Run mainly by volunteers, this association offers educational, sporting and leisure activities throughout the school year. You can learn or improve your English or Russian, computer skills, sewing and knitting, patchwork and counted stitches, take part in a reading circle, follow cooking or drama workshops, practice yoga, table tennis or badminton. There's also tutoring, ballroom dancing and gardening...

It's original! Casteljaloux is home to a padel tennis court, a racket sport derived from tennis and similar to squash, which is played on a smaller 10x20m court, with a net delimiting both sides of the court and fencing or glass walls all around. A group of 4 friends and associates, most of them former tennis players, were behind the creation of this cutting-edge sports court in the hangar of a former sawmill on the banks of the Avance river. Three padel courts are now available for this accessible and friendly sport.

From the church, follow the blue markers on this transitional trail between the Garonne river landscape and the Landes massif. An easy 10.4 km itinerary (2h45 walking, 1h45 riding, 1h20 mountain biking). Take slightly sunken dirt tracks, cross a wood, skirt a hedge, cross a stream, climb a wide grassy track lined with ditches to reach Millasseau and its viewpoint over the Garonne valley from Marmande to Tonneins.

Managed by Eric JOLIT, European Canoe-Kayak champion and state-qualified sports educator, the center offers a variety of outdoor activities for all levels and tastes. The center offers rentals, training, entertainment and events, both scheduled and on request.

With its pagoda-shaped sunshades, the Casteljaloux swimming pool has an exotic allure. Located close to the tourist office, at the entrance to the town, for easy access, the municipal open-air pool is equipped with several pools: a 50 m Olympic pool, a 25 m pool, a paddling pool and a diving pit. So it's perfect for the whole family. After a few laps or just to relax, you can take advantage of the deckchairs in the shade of the parasols or/and refresh yourself at the snack bar.

La Ballarade is an equestrian center located in Lacépède, Lot-et-Garonne. Founded in 2003 by horse-riding enthusiasts, the club offers courses for all levels, supervised by an experienced state-certified teacher. Children aged 3 to 5 can discover ponies during "baby pony" lessons or accompanied rides. Older children can learn the different gaits of the horse, practice jumping and dressage, and pass the gallops from 1 to 7. Adult beginners can take ethology classes to overcome their fear of horses, while experienced riders can maintain their skills and practice their favorite disciplines. In addition to courses, La Ballarade offers pony and horse trail rides, equestrian events and birthday parties. Agen, a town in south-west France, is home to the voluntary association Fées du Sport. Founded in 2008 by Muriel Boulmier and five other members, the association aims to promote women's sports and encourage social and professional integration through physical and sporting activities. Fées du Sport offers a range of services, including free bike hire for association members, bike repair and distribution to those in need, and bike training courses for adult women and senior citizens. The association also organizes conferences and events to support and develop women's sports.
