This national-scale municipal theater was inaugurated in 1968. Hosting dramatic, dance and music performances, the venue attracts large audiences and offers a highly eclectic program. Each season, the St. Gallen theater presents over twenty new productions, and welcomes over 150,000 spectators from all over the Lake Constance region for around 470 performances (including some 50 off-site).
