It is one of the oldest houses in the city (from the middle of the 19th century). This charming white wooden house is located in the heart of Mandal. The hotel's restaurant, Kjøbmandsgaarden, offers excellent local cuisine, which we invite you to try. The staff is also charming. Grand Hotel Flekkefjord is the city's oldest hotel. Ideally located, this address is equally suited to business and leisure stays. The hotel was built in 1897, in the classic style of a Swiss chalet. The hotel is one of the most photographed buildings in Flekkefjord. The hotel offers 29 rooms, all different, each with its own special atmosphere. The campsite organizes many activities such as canoeing, river sports, hiking, football, volleyball, climbing, etc. It is one of the oldest campsites in Norway (from the 1930s). Approximately 200 tent places, 8 modern apartments and four small houses. Also a small shop and café serving pizza, burgers, milkshakes, etc.

A traditional hotel with about 100 rooms, built in the early 20th century. A rather imposing entrance with its nice red Chesterfield sofas. Recently renovated, the rooms are quite modern, with light colours, beds you just want to stay in and all the contemporary comforts (flat screen, Internet access, large bathroom, coffee machine). Special care has been taken with the colours. The Madame Blom brasserie, with its fin de siècle atmosphere, is worth a stop if you are hungry.

A beautiful campsite, where you can enjoy the raw nature of the surroundings. The little red cabins are situated on the water's edge, on a green field, and have a great cachet. There are also places for tents and caravans. In the evening, the sun sets very late at this place, on purpose to let you enjoy long and busy days and long nights because you are very tired! Fishing rods, boats, bicycles for hire... a great campsite !

A very nice camp site located on the island of Tromøy, about 12 km from the center of Arendal. Also kayaks, boats and other water sports equipment for rent. Accessible by car but also by bus, train or boat. A family-friendly campground that promises good times. Small events are organized during the summer. Very clean sanitary facilities with all amenities. Barbecue available. A good base to explore the nature in the surroundings and all the activities the region offers.

Located 800m south of the centre of Mandal, it is a good location by the water. Some of the apartments have just been renovated and are therefore very comfortable with brand new furniture. The large wooden building seen today was originally two houses built by an Irish immigrant in 1837. A Dane bought them in 1873 and combined them into one building. Three years of restoration, completed in 1994, have brought the hotel back to its original appearance. The restaurant is decorated with the hotel's old furniture while other rooms are furnished with antiques. Knut Hamsun was one of the regulars and his room is still there. A superb address. The atmosphere, the history, the charm... everything is there!

Housed in a charming white wood building, it offers a wide range of services, including on-site dining. Some rooms (double superior) are huge, with whirlpool baths. This campground is located on the edge of a beautiful fjord. Several accommodation options, in tent, caravan or fully equipped cabin (same price for all, a little more expensive in July and August). Possibility to rent boats, kayaks, bicycles and to swim. Nice walks in the surrounding area along the water. Washing machine available. Free internet connection, kitchen available, beach access, electricity. Kayak rental for only 30 NOK per hour, 100 NOK per day, a great option for exploring!

At the very end of Tyholmen, it is a luxurious hotel with 60 comfortable rooms with marble bathrooms. One stays there mainly for its geographical situation, facing the fjord. That said, the comfort is quite correct, only the atmosphere lacks authenticity. Risør Guesthouse is located in the Bossvika fjords near Risør. A view of the sea, a small beach and a jetty is what awaits you every morning. All cabins are comfortable and well equipped (wi-fi). Motorboats (max 20 hp) and kayaks are available for hire. Not bad for a week of Norwegian experience. A very good place to explore and discover the southern coast of Norway without looking for accommodation every night. 2 km from the guesthouse is a great ceramic workshop.

Holiday resort in a prime location in Norway, between Risør and Lyngør. There are many activities such as kayaking, fishing, hiking and a wide range of accommodation options to suit all budgets.
