The parish church of Our Lady of Building, located in the heart of the Grand Street, could almost go unnoticed. Accessible to everyone (thanks to the diffusion of large screen translation), this mass shows the richness of a community open to sharing and will be happy to welcome you and to make you visit the places, even if you come only as a tourist. The small chapel Notre-Dame-des-Flots is a mythical and unmissable place in Gravelines. Located right in front of the sea, there is a unique and beautiful setting. And so why 'Notre-Dame-des-Flots? In 1928, a woman from Lille chose to donate a statue of Saint Rita to a humble parish in the region. She chose Saint-Eubert church in Vendeville, and Abbé Dumortier also obtained a relic of this "advocate of desperate causes" from the monastery in Cascia! Since then, the church has been the object of pilgrimage and devotion. The countless ex-votos that cover its walls bear witness to this. These thousand touching messages also tell the story of the region: many were donated during the Second World War.
