It is often confused with Es Cranc, but they are two different restaurants although they are the same property. Cranc Pelut is located at the entrance to Fornells, at the beginning of the port. If Es Cranc is the specialist in caldereta, Cranc Pelut is one of the best places in Menorca to eat paella. A word of advice: don't take an appetizer, the paella for two is absolutely gigantic (you can eat it for four without any problem). The kindness of the waiters and the pretty view of the port do the rest. An excellent address.

A place as small as it is central, as friendly as it is economical! In Fornells, Mar del Bies will be the salvation of those on a budget who don't want to stuff just anything into their cone. Here, ingredients are carefully selected (fruit, vegetables, breads, meats and fish) before being skilfully transformed into breakfast, lunch or dinner. From café-croissant-tartine to bikini (typical Spanish hot club sandwich) de sobrasada, as well as more elaborate dishes... All at low prices! We also love the music and surf atmosphere.

A choice of 51 dishes. The only quality Thai restaurant on the island. Here you will enjoy the «real» Thai cuisine in an applied decor.

For over thirty years, Ca Na Marga has been delighting carnivores of all kinds! This pretty little address in Les Salines is one of Menorca's finest carn a la brasa(barbecued meat) restaurants. You'll enjoy delicious braised meats (lamb, chicken and fine cuts of beef), as well as freshly caught fish, grilled vegetables and lighter salads in a pleasant family atmosphere. Try to save room for one of the ten desserts à la carte.

The best value for money in the city. View of the harbour of the small terrace and authentic kitchen in a simple but neat setting. The boss is as charming as the servers are efficient. Food prices are still affordable. The caldera, a feast worthy of the kings, is at 57 €, the parillada of pescado at 32 €. Also good grilled fish.

For those who are really not hungry, perhaps because it is not time, the ride could be accompanied by ice. Enjoy it at Sa Gelateria, a artisan glacier installed on a terrace of the Paseo marítimo. Twenty perfumes (1,40 € the ball).

The Ses Salines restaurant overlooks the beach - which is very busy in summer - and its pretty terrace overlooks the sea and the many boats anchored in the bay. Here, seafood is the star attraction, especially mussels, prepared in a variety of ways. You'll also be able to sample some excellent seafood paellas and the famous caldereta de llagosta. At lunchtime, the restaurant offers an interesting menu for around 20 euros.

Impossible to miss, La Guapa, with its flight of white-topped tables, is located in the heart of the narrow streets of Fornells. A cozy dining room and a lovely terrace where you can enjoy traditional Mediterranean specialties prepared with expertise by chef Rubén Darío and his son Jon: caldereta de llagosta (lobster stew), arrossos (rice), but also fish and meat km0 are prepared with great skill and accompanied by vegetables grown in the restaurant's own garden. Freshness, good humor and gastronomic inventiveness are the order of the day.

With over twenty years' experience, Sa Nansa, a restaurant specializing in Mediterranean, not to say Menorcan, cuisine, unfurls its terrace facing the Bay of Fornells to the delight of summer guests looking for a gourmet break. The menu features classic, well-prepared dishes, as well as snacks such as homemade pizzas and tapas. The wine list is well-stocked and the dessert menu particularly appetizing! In short, a well-known Fornells address where you can always eat well.

We've fallen in love with this fine restaurant nestling on the sea passage. Here, the focus is on Menorcan cuisine. Everything is homemade, from starters to desserts. Good products on the plate: fish kilometer zero, Menorcan meat (we recommend the excellent solomillo de ternera)... and delicious traditional dishes à la carte (caldereta, arroz caldoso...). Those with a sweet tooth will end up with a Sa Xerxa, a kind of cheesecake with dulce de leche, mascarpone and oreo (very sweet, but very good!) or a tarta de queso de Mahon.

Sa Taula is Fornells' trendy restaurant. Situated in the village's Carrer Major, the white building, whose silhouette is reminiscent of the island's famous taules talayotiques, is home to a delightful restaurant serving Mediterranean-style recipes! In short, an authentic and different place where magic happens! You'll enjoy sipping a cocktail or a cold beer on the building's roof-top, overlooking the bay as the sun sets. A unique space to discover!

Pilar González was just 18 when she arrived in Menorca and met her husband Sebastián, the son of a Menorcan fisherman. They decided to open this traditional restaurant in the small port of Fornells. The menu features the famous caldereta de llagosta and other fresh seafood. Unfortunately, this very popular spot in high season is often full, so you'll need to book several days in advance to be able to sample Pilar's tasty home cooking.

The marine decor and the mouth-watering aroma of freshly prepared seafood immediately set the mood. Its privileged location, with terrace facing the sparkling little port, is an undeniable asset, but expect this to influence the bill! Here, dishes are prepared with care, highlighting the freshness of ingredients, from lobsters to delicate fish presented with simplicity to preserve all their flavors. Pair it with a glass of white wine, and you're done!

Located on the seafront, this elegant bistro seats 70 and is a great place to recharge your batteries in a relaxing setting. Although the menu is short, it nevertheless offers a variety of dishes to suit all tastes. Grilled meat and fish or more elaborate dishes, but also burgers and salads (not forgetting the tasty homemade desserts) are copious and beautifully presented! Wines (local and international) and cocktails for aperitifs! A perfect stopover.

Tapas and cocktails with a sea view: that's what La Frañola offers, a fairly recent addition to the landscape of the fishing village of Fornells, having only been open since spring 2022. The owners' plan? To create a pleasant, welcoming space in which to cultivate this culture of sharing around creative tapas and a good glass of wine (or cocktail, for those who like them).
