Events calendar Pays d'Issoire

It's THE must-see event of the summer in Issoire! Every Friday evening (note the pun), the city center comes alive with free events and activities: night markets, concerts, outdoor film screenings, DJ sets, demonstrations... There is something for everyone! Each Friday evening has its own theme: family, sports, animals, world flavors, Auvergne day... For the occasion, some streets and boulevards become entirely pedestrian, allowing restaurants to extend their terraces. Convivial and festive!

This classical, modern and baroque music festival is organised every year, in late June/early July, in historic places such as the Issoire Abbey or Parentignat Castle. It relies on international interpreters and aims to allow the greatest number of people to have access to international concerts and performances.

Organized by the Lions Club of Issoire, this Ferrarissimo allows visitors to participate in initiations in prestigious cars on the car circuit of Issoire. The most famous brands are present: Ferrari, Lamborghini, Jaguar, MacLaren or Porsche, Aston Martin and Corvette. In total, more than fifty vehicles! Visitors who do not wish to drive will still be able to enjoy the excitement of the event by accessing the trackside and the museum. The funds raised will be donated to charitable organizations.

The FIDEMM was created in 1987 on the initiative of Fernand Neves and members of the Folklore Issoirien. The idea is to look at the diversity of forms and expressions of folk music and dances of the world. During the festival, groups coming from all over the world, animate parades in the city center, concerts, convivial evenings and aperitifs, open air shows and dance workshops for those who would like to learn.

Organized by Issoire Rugby, this sporting event marks ASM's first friendly match. It has been held for 19 years at the Jacques Lavédrine complex in Issoire. It's one of the department's major sporting events: the closing match of the challenge, which brings together 2 professional teams (Top14 or European team), attracts almost 5,000 spectators every year.
