ENFIN DU VIN

Caviste

It is difficult to pass through Indre-et-Loire and not be interested in one of the products that have made its history and reputation: wine! Whether it is red, rosé, white, sweet, dry or sparkling, there is bound to be a nectar for your taste buds. And the advice of Éva and Bernard, the new owners since 2023, is precious. They like to share their discoveries and knowledge around aperitif boards or during tasting evenings. A warm place on the waterfront where people like to meet, a must on the Loire à Vélo!

After 6 decades of operation in La Roche-Clermault, the Vazereau farm has opened a site entirely dedicated to welcoming the public in Cinais. The Laurent family's goat farm is a real educational farm, where visitors can watch milking without disturbing the animals, and have access to an educational room as well as a yoghurt factory from spring 2024, all in a place that is safe for children and accessible to people with reduced mobility. For gourmets, Vazereau products are available for sale at the site entrance.

LA FOUACE DE LERNE

Bakery

Who said that tradition was lost! Here everything is home and old. The speciality is the rabelaisienne rabelaisienne, based on honey and spices. This small round bread ideal for both aperitifs and small inserts. For the past four years Patrice Gauvineau has been preparing his traditional fouées, pre-cooked dough with rillettes and other tourangelles specialities. On request, the chef prepares fougasses, braided brioches and provides catering for all events. Typical and authentic this bakery is located in a beautiful tourangeau village. So do not hesitate to make a gourmande stop!
