In height, the two rooms display two different atmospheres. On the ^first floor, coffee tables and mats on the floor, perfect for a cup of tea, lassi or a refreshing mint lemon slush. On the second floor, a few tables to enjoy the benefits of the restaurant's vegetarian cuisine. Here, no glutamate, as little oil as possible and fresh organic food. The varied menu offers salads, sandwiches, dal, curry all as healthy and delicious. Lots of choices also for breakfast. A very good address at any time of the day.

The restaurant bears this name in reference to the date the city was founded by Maharana Udai Singh. Situated on the edge of the lake Fateh Sagar its terrace is a real pleasure. In a century-old building, guests can choose between a restaurant, lounge bar or coffee shop. The restaurant, a chic and elegant place, serves traditional European cuisine with Indian influences. In the evening, in the garden, the subdued light of the candles diffuses a romantic atmosphere. The bar offers a sober setting ideal for sipping a drink. The coffee-shop is the perfect place to get rid of the sweet tooth.

It would be a pity to stay in Udaipur without having dinner at Ambrai! Bhaset Singh, the cook of the place, is none other than the former head of the maharaja and his experience allows him some remarkable fantasies. The dishes are meticulously prepared and served quickly. The enchanting setting is ideal for a romantic dinner. In the evening, the tables are lit by candlelight and before your eyes the city is reflected in the lake. We highly recommend Jahagisi Chicken, the unique house specialty. Reservation imperative in high season.

Since its opening in 2016, this tiny café has not stopped filling up. A la carte, a large choice of fresh products to get you settled early in the morning or for a light breakfast. But above all, a very large choice of coffees, espresso or elongated, machiatto or frappé, that will satisfy caffeine addicts. Beware, between 9 and 10 am there is often a queue, as yoga enthusiasts all arrive here after their morning session in the nearby centre. The three tables set up on the small terrace are quickly taken by storm. From there, one can observe the lively Gangaur Ghat district.

A nice little cafe that has a walk on the street, just steps from the lake. Held by the same owners as the Tiger, it is especially appreciated for its espresso (as at home) and its delicious pastries. Let yourself be tempted by the roll roll.

Like most restaurants in Bundi, this one came out of nowhere and is located on the roof of a building. After climbing the steep stairs, you will enjoy a rather extraordinary view of the city. The chef, who trained in an Italian restaurant in Chennai, offers a menu focused on pasta and pizza. The result surprises positively: well-made sauces, crispy pizzas, pepper mill, hot oil and dried oregano. A good address if you feel like a change from Indian cuisine.

You can eat there at any time of the day for a reasonable price or quench your thirst with a cold drink. The place is particularly popular at sunset and the tables can quickly be overrun in high season. Without being unforgettably romantic, the place is very pleasant, especially thanks to its unobstructed view. They also serve beer under the coat, but shh.

In the heart of the city, it's a little piece of paradise. At the bar, we sit on saddlebags. The restaurant is organized around a small green garden. The meal is served in tents, on mattresses with cushions and coffee tables. The room is also very pleasant with its varnished wooden tables and chairs with carved backs. It serves good Indian and continental cuisine, although not all dishes are the same. It's best to avoid soups, for example. There's no view of the lake, but never mind this time...

The few tables of this small restaurant "à la bonne franquette" are installed at the edge of the lake, two steps from the pedestrian bridge. Understand that they're not very high up. If you appreciate Indian cuisine in all its fullness, you can ask for a more spicy dish. They are presented in terracotta pots which have the merit of keeping them hot. You will have the choice between a not very tasty dal, chicken curry, potatoes, rice and chapatis.

The taste of South India in the mountains, it could seem incongruous if this cuisine was not one of the favorites of Indians. Most of them are here on vacation and looking for a change of scenery. Sankalp fulfills this desire here. You will eat delicious dosa, a kind of crunchy pancake, stuffed or not and accompanied by various sauces. Our preference is for the hearty masala dosa. In addition to these very popular pancakes, which are especially popular at breakfast, the menu offers other local specialties such as idli, vada and uttapam.
