Baveno-Oltrefiume-Feriolo-Torre. 2h15 return. From the Villa Fedora park, turn left towards Oltrefiume. Continue along Via Lavarini and the Strada Cavalli which joins the main road. Then turn left and take the path that leads to the tower with picnic area.

Baveno-Roncaro-Campio-Campino-Alpinia-Mottarone. 2h15 on the way out and 1h25 on the way back. From the lake shore in Baveno, climb to Roncaro and Campino. The route, with views of Lake Maggiore, leads to the summit of Mottarone.

You can pick up your bike at a dozen hotels throughout the canton. You can be accompanied by an experienced guide for simple rides or more technical rides on forest paths if you're experienced.
