The latest address to go out in Mindelo, inaugurated in August 2021, this space was designed to promote cultural diversity, arts, dance, but especially music, giving pride of place to African creativity. In the small town of João Galego, the locals gather at the Cadjau to drink a grogue or a beer, the place acting as a sort of meeting point. They also stop here to have a breakfast of cachupa guisado, so as not to escape the tradition. In a rustic and quiet atmosphere, they serve hearty meals, at more than affordable prices, with the menu of cabri or freshly arrived fish. Of course, there is music and parties at the weekend.
