In the heart of this charming village, surrounded by immense natural rock ramparts, the winery has been home to around a hundred passionate winegrowers since 1939. Combining cutting-edge techniques, traditional know-how, respect for the environment and appreciation of the terroir, this winery produces prestigious vintages: AOP Languedoc, AOP Pic-Saint-Loup and IGP Pays d'Oc, both organically grown and sustainable. Le Clos, Épisode cévenol, Free Style... Anyone staying in the Cèze valley will come across one of their productions (IGP Cévennes), featuring wines made with passion, a selection of natural wines, a prestige series and must-haves. Take a stroll through the 3 km vineyard to learn all about the estate. The wine bar and restaurant are open every evening in summer, and tapas evenings, wine and food pairings and concerts are regularly scheduled. An excellent, high-quality yet relaxed address.

A stone's throw from Anduze, just below the ruins of the medieval Château de Tornac - and since 1924 - Les Vignerons de Tornac have been lovingly and passionately crafting a wine from quality grape varieties. Most of the 400 hectares of vines have been organically farmed since 2002. The great diversity of the terroir, which winds its way between the rocks of Anduze, the Cévennes and the Gardon, has produced wines of the highest quality: IGP Cévennes, IGP Pays d'Oc and AOP Duché d'Uzès. You have to taste everything at the Cave de Tornac, because you'll rarely be disappointed!

A wine estate in the heart of Alès? Not at all. But Papilles au Nez is really worth the detour... Above all, it will delight lovers of organic or natural wines. Indeed, here is a nice selection of passionate winegrowers, deeply rooted in their territories and terroirs, respectful of nature, offering 100% organic and natural wines. There is plenty to discover and be guided by your taste buds during the tasting workshops, or to exchange on wines through wine tours proposed in July and August.

Between Gard and Ardèche, the cooperative cellar of Barjac groups together the neighbouring communes of Saint-Privat-de-Champclos, Montclus in the Gard and Bessas, Vagnas, in Ardèche. Created in 1929, it currently has 70 members. The Barjac cellar produces wines from the Côte du Vivarais AOC, which combine grenache and syrah, supple and fruity in reds, fresh with aromas of raspberry and rosés. Except for a white chardonnay and a sweet and amusing rosé, the production of the Barjac cooperative cellar is mainly red wines. We can mention in particular a 100% Merlot local wine aged for one year in oak barrels. It is an excellent wine to keep and is supple with spicy notes. The know-how and solidarity of the cooperators have enabled the necessary changes to be made to produce quality wines. In the cellar, you can taste all these wines.

Here you are at the Domaine de Gournier cellar, owned by Mr Maurice Barnouin, a renowned and innovative winemaker who is not afraid to shake up tradition and heritage. The hectares of his estate were, in his father's time, dedicated to arboriculture. He ignored this legacy by uprooting trees and planting vines. From these come out very pleasant and renowned wines. Amongst the grape varieties, Maurice Barnouin has even managed the feat of raising Riesling, a prerogative of Alsace wines: and yet, you can check, you are indeed on the slopes of the Cévennes!

Here you can drink or make! The workshop offers its own organic craft beers created with local produce, but brewer Edward Orton also teaches the art of brewing through one-day courses. Although the course is merely an introduction, it covers all the practical stages and the theoretical outlines of production. You can come back and pick up one to three kegs of the beer you've brewed a month or so later, and in all cases the day ends with a tasting session. The beers are smooth and original.

Zelige-Caravan... Here is a very strange domain name! A name that mixes creativity (artistic creation, dare we even say) and travel. A name that fits perfectly with the spirit of Marie and Luc-Michel, the two owners of this original and biodynamic vineyard (Demeter certification), one of the few Gardois estates to be part of the Pic-Saint-Loup AOC. Go to Corconne to discover it: it is worth the detour and its wines are... amazing!

The Durfort winery really deserves to be mentioned, it produces wines under the PGI Cevennes appellation "Dufort la cave", "Pélous" and PDO "Duché d'Uzès". This last name is surprising. Strangely far from the village, the cellar is nevertheless surprisingly a member of the wines of the Duchy of Uzès. No matter if the terroir is not the same, it delivers its own nectars and the range resulting from this blend is very interesting, especially the Blanc du Duché, a true aromatic concentrate at a very low price, with white flower aromas. In constant progress, the cellar has won a few medals at the Uzès wine fair: gold for the rosé, bronze for the red of the "Cave de Durfort" cuvée and silver for the red of the PDO "Duché d'Uzès".

Welcome to the winegrowers of Lédignan, in a cooperative cellar that has existed since 1925. The winemakers will be pleased to let you taste Cévennes wines, especially those produced in the vineyards belonging to the winery. At Domaine Coste Longuière, you will discover a vineyard completely dedicated to organic farming! The estate has indeed bet on a sulphite-free wine. Thanks to the guided tour proposed by the estate, you will learn more about the production techniques of the estate.

The estate is located at the foot of the Cevennes mountains, in a natural environment conducive to the cultivation of vines and the production of high quality wine. Owned by the Fesquet family for over a century, the estate produces wines from the Cévennes and Languedoc regions with great character. In 2006, the heir to the family and current owner, Emilien, decided to create his own private winery in order to have more control over his wine making.

Created in 1997 in Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort, the Trouillas estate extends over 50 hectares on a clayey-limestone soil. It produces vins de Pays d'Oc and some ares of vines made from table grapes. Viognier, sauvignon, syrah, grenache, merlot, cabernet and cinsault are represented, which will give you a good choice. Two hectares of figs planted in 2008, raspberries, blackberries without thorns, cherries and various fruit trees are used to produce homemade jams and fig cakes.

The Cave de l'Ormarine is a group of 8 cooperative wineries. Of these, 6 are located in the Hérault, 1 in the Gard and 1 in the Minervois. The supply area is therefore extensive, stretching from the Cévennes to the Mediterranean (Pinet, Villeveyrac, Cournonterral, Vias, Olonzac, etc.). So don't be surprised if you find wines in this cellar that have nothing to do with the local terroir: Picpoul de Pinet, Collines de la Moure, Côtes de Thau... Here at l'Ormarine, you'll have the opportunity to bring terroirs together and taste unusual wines.

The pleasure of the eyes and the palate is what Michel Coudène offers us as soon as we arrive on his beautiful area of Baruel, at the foot of the Cevennes. Its wines are not lacking in charm, it must be said that they are in the image of this beautiful vineyard nestling in the garrigue. They are named Bergerie, Fontanilles and Roquebelle, and they delight in beautiful dining. On the vine side, Syrah, Cabernet, 14 hectares of vines and four thousand feet per hectare of vines are found.
