This is a new generation winemaker. An enthusiast who does not hesitate to take advice from the elders to find old methods of winemaking. The property has 5,5 ha acquired gradually since 1991, distributed on Tupin-Plant for the blonde coast and Vérenay for the brune. This wine grower offers toast to be tasted on the fruit. The first wine is a mixture of côte and blonde, high 16 months in barrels, to drink in his youth. The coteau-de-tupin, a blonde, is developed with serine, a local vine close to Syrah. Now part of the vineyard is ploughed on horseback. New plots in condrieu and country wines have entered the field.

Nicolas Gonin is a winegrower and oenologist who produces quality wines on an estate created from scratch, with the vines of his family and 20 different owners! Nicolas Gonin works a 5.5 hectare estate with local grape varieties (altesse, mondeuse, persan and viognier) and others, without using chemical fertilisers, in a "natural" spirit. Rosé and sparkling rosé, pinot noir and gamay, red persan, a favourite with mondeuse, which goes wonderfully with meat, and white altesse, which goes well with local goat's cheese. A great discovery.

Since 2003, Stéphanie and Mario have taken over the business from Marc Bonnaire, one of the winegrowers who was at the origin of the creation of the Vin de Pays des Balmes Dauphinoises around 1970. We discover a vineyard offering an interesting range of wines of all colors. You will find the white chardonnay, the rosé wine, the red wine la Meute, a blend of syrah and mondeuse grapes. The time has come (name of a Domaine cuvée) to drink the best wines in the world! Côte-Rôtie from an estate worked plot by plot by an expert in the field: Stéphane Ogier. A magnificent cellar with a panoramic view over the vineyards and an exceptional terroir. From a family of winegrowers handed down from father to son for 7 generations, with 14 hectares of vines, notably in Ampuis, Stéphane Ogier achieves real prowess on each plot with its own particularities. His favorite wines are Lancement and Belle Hélène. A must-try.

Bernard Levet, following four generations of winegrowers, has devoted himself since 1983 to the unique but renowned Côte-Rôtie. His 4.5 ha of vines - under integrated viticulture - are divided into 11 plots, the majority of which have been planted for more than 35 years, on the sites of "Landonne" - cuvée Maestria -, "Chavaroche" - cuvée La Péroline. Cuvée Améthyste of a beautiful intensity. Tannins well present. Aromas of red fruits (blackcurrant, raspberry, blackberry) and animal spices (musk, leather) characterize this côte-rôtie which only needs to age.

At the head of this family estate we find Carmen and Jean-François well supported by their sons Liz and Fabien. The vineyard is divided into two parts: in the blonde producing a soft, high wine from 18 to 24 months. The other side is in-brune and produces a stronger wine.

A 10-hectare family estate run by brothers Patrick and Christophe that produces Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu. The Condrieu Côte Châtillon is partly barrel-aged. It's a wine with golden highlights, smooth and candied. Parcels on the Rozier and Rochins hillsides produce the bulk of the Côte-Rôtie. The former is a fine wine with aromas of red fruits and spices, while the cuvée Les Rochins is well-balanced, with vanilla and red fruit flavors and a long finish. And let's not forget Sensation du Nord: a Viognier and a Syrah at the very edge of the appellation.

This small area of 2 ha offers a toast-toast 2004 "La Brocarde" coast, which is situated in the upper-brune, high 24 to 26 months in a new oak barrel. A toast 2005, assembly of different plots on the appellation, high in oak drum for 18 months.

A fine family story, since the Barge family have been winegrowers since 1860! Julien took over the family business in 2019. He cultivates 5.70 ha in the Côte-Rôtie appellation, from which the Cuvée Duplessy and Côte-Brune are made, in a thoughtful tradition of respect for nature and "partnership" with plants and animals. Also 1 ha of Condrieu and 1.50 ha of red and white Saint Joseph. Four spacious guest rooms in a beautiful village house complete the address, with swimming pool and terrace.

SCEA Domaine Pichat is a vineyard located in Ampuis, in the Rhône region. It offers a wide range of quality wines, made from local grape varieties such as Syrah and Viognier. The estate is open to the public and offers guided tours and tastings. Visitors can discover the different stages of wine production, from vine to cellar, and learn more about the winemaking techniques used. The estate also has a boutique where visitors can purchase wines produced on site. A visit to SCEA Domaine Pichat is an excellent opportunity to discover the wines of the region and learn more about the art of viticulture.

The Gallet area is above all a beautiful family history that settled in Boucharey in 1807, enjoying an exceptional geographical location. To reach it, just climb a few slopes. From here it is beautiful, everything is quiet and the vine breathes at the only pace of the seasons. It is the 6 th generation of wine growers who welcome the visitor. Henri, Philippe, Marie-Thérèse, Elisabeth and Valérie operate 3,5 ha of coast-rotie as well as a part of Syrah grape table wine. These winemakers maintain traditions: breeding is made in oak barrels from 16 months to 2 years.

A family estate for 4 generations, this domain is run by Patrick Jasmin. The vineyard is composed of small plots of land on all the soils of the Côte-Rôtie. The cellar is located in the center of Ampuis, 100 m from the square, the place is indicated by signs. The côte-rôtie of the house has a purple colour, with an imposing structure, tannins still present with aromas of small red and black fruits such as raspberry and blackcurrant, violet, liquorice and spices. A wine that can age from 6 to 15 years to reach its peak.

Being a winegrower in the Condrieu and Côte-Rôtie A.O.P. is a passion that has driven the Niero family for 4 generations. Rémi Niero takes care of the estate with passion. The vineyard is entirely hand-worked and certified High Environmental Value. Result: two of the best grands crus. Wonderful Condrieu wines: Chéry and Ravines. Special Cuvée Héritage, the quintessence of the Domaine's know-how. In Côte-Rôtie, Domaine Niero owns 2 hectares where Syrah is produced, a unique grape variety, offering intense aromas and a rare elegance.

Georges Vernay was one of the emblematic "figures" of the vineyard. Condrieu owes its fame to him. For many years, he defended his vines planted on steep slopes so that they would be recognized for their true value. His daughter, Christine, has taken over the business, which is now fully certified as an organic vineyard. The cuvée Les Chaillées de l'Enfer is made from 2 hectares of 40 year old vines. The flagship of the reds are the superb Côte-Rôtie wines, including "Maison Rouge", a harmonious wine with a beautiful finesse in the mouth.

Created in 1928, this estate has belonged to the Dulcaux family for four generations. Developed over the past 90 years, it is now in the hands of the two brothers Benjamin and David Duclaux who cultivate, by hand, 5.8 hectares of vines on the sloping slopes of Tupin and Semons.

As they claim, their ambition is to produce elegant Côte-Rôties typical of the southern part of the Côte-Rôtie appellation (from a mother rock of Gneiss). Many times praised and cited as an example, the estate offers various wines of very high quality: Côte-Rôtie La Chana, Côte-Rôtie Maison-Rouge or Condrieu Les Caillets.

If you've ever wanted to visit an estate producing the prestigious Condrieu and Côte-Rôtie wines, all you have to do is drop in (it's always open) and take a tour in the company of the passionate Daubrée family. You'll be able to climb the hillside among the vines, visit the vaulted cellar and taste a few bottled marvels, including a Côte Blonde Marions-Les and a Côte Brune Paradis.
