LA MAISON D’AMOUR
Read moreUnder beautiful arcades in La Bastide, the past is in the heart of this walk who took this name after a love story dating back to that time. In a book by Voltaire, "Essays on the morals of nations" the anecdote is told there. From this house where he lived some time, the future King Henri IV sent a letter of love to Diane of Andouin called "La Belle Corisande". Today, it is with love that you can settle in this warm room where wood, beige and rosé are a great place to taste traditional périgourdins dishes, salads or pancakes.

LA P'TITE TREILLE
Read moreIn a typical Périgord house and well situated in the centre of Issigeac, P'tite Treille will attract guests through its lovely terrace, Perigordian and Italian specialities. The chef puts some small personal touches on Périgord products: The soup are in the foie gras, duck duck breasts or ginger, and the hamburger house is made Italian. The Perigordian plate is very complete and French fries are home-made. At the map a good choice of wines from the region and the little more appreciated: A bottle can be carried in an adapted packaging. The restaurant also has a tea lounge open from a. m. to p. m. all pastries are home-made.

LE PETIT MAINE
Read moreHere, the owners have a guiding principle, fresh products above all that they decline in their dishes: market vegetables from the market, fish from the Ronnat fish shop and the Jules-Ferry. On the menu, main courses for small hungers: homemade soups and velvets, saulted tarts, salads, and local flavours like foie gras and its jelly with monbazillac, omelette with mushrooms and green salad, Périgord enchaud (pork confit served cold with potatoes and green salad with walnut oil) or a chicken sirloin steak with chanterelle sauce, sautéed potatoes and seasonal vegetables will delight you. The ice-creams are traditional and the pancakes homemade. You can take away soups packaged in recyclable packaging with corn-made environmental spoons. The house is also a tea room. The teas come from Dammann Frères and are prepared with spring water. Too bad the terrace overlooks the busy street...
