In the Verdon and its tributaries, fishing is practised in the middle of the rocks, in a very tormented universe without this disturbing the big trout living there. The lakes of elevation are of unimaginable richness, fishing mainly for farios trout, and other varieties of fish such as brook salmon, roach or Arctic char, a very fine, rare and difficult fish to catch.

On the Giallorgues icefalls, there are generally four climbable lines, rated from 4 to 4+. Their ascent is free, but reserved to the initiated or to the persons accompanied by a professional.
