VELODROME ORANGE
Read moreThe former and legendary Velodrome Stadium has now been replaced by the Orange Velodrome. It is difficult to recognize the old structures of the previous stage, renovated twice, for the 1998 World Cup and the 2016 Euro. The structure is impressive and its capacity of 67,394 spectators makes it the second largest stadium in France. It obviously hosts OM matches, with the current achievements of the players who succeeded Waddle, Boli and Papin. OM fans will have an unforgettable moment of fervour on game nights. In addition to the OM, the stadium sometimes also hosts rugby matches of the Toulon neighbour of the RCT, international football or rugby matches as well as concerts. The new Le Prado shopping centre now makes it a fully-fledged living space, and the stadium is also intended to host seminars and private events. Much more than just a stadium, the Orange Velodrome perpetuates the legend of the Velodrome.
