Located in one of the most beautiful addresses in St. Petersburg, on the banks of the Nevsky Prospect and the Griboedov Canal, Café Singer, with its turn-of-the-century (past) atmosphere, is an ideal warm stop on your stroll through the center. Some of the tables offer a nice view of Our Lady of Kazan, just across the Nevsky. The café shares the second floor of the Singer building with Dom Knigi - literally "House of Books" - the city's largest bookstore. Elegance, sophistication and hospitality.

Welcome to Black Bird Coffee, one of the city's best coffee shops (our favorite). The decor is cosy and modern, with big leather armchairs, shelves of books and pretty hanging plants. Eugénie takes care of the cooking: carrot cakes, homemade fondant cookies, banana bread... On weekends, you'll flock here for a delicious brunch featuring a savoury platter and an all-you-can-eat sweet buffet (remember to make reservations). The best in town, in our opinion. At lunchtime, there's a slate of suggestions. Lovely welcome.

In this little street of the Croix-Rousse, Futé saw this Comptoir Sauvage appear with undisguised joy. In the big family of coffee shops, here - at last - is the organic version that will do us good. Run by charming women who know how to cook perfectly, Comptoir Sauvage is a tea room that thinks as much about our environment (no gaspi and waste with the possibility of taking away in its own container), our well-being (gluten-free option, 100% vegetable) as it does about the pleasure of our taste buds. Hot and cold drinks, vegetable milk smoothies, fresh seasonal products and successful home-made recipes. Healthy address noticed by Le Futé.

At the quiet corner of the Griffon Street and the Rosemary street, this tea salon offers more than a hundred different types of teas, but also Colombian, Ethiopian or House coffee, sugar flavoured with violet jams or cranberry… Certainly what to do the happiness of all lovers of fine snacks in this tea and coffee lounge near the Opera. You can even enjoy breakfast at eight o'clock in the morning. In this chic interior with jazzy music, the café is king. The water is filtered with a softener so that it does not alter its perfume. Cocktails based on coffee, milk or chocolate will be offered. Here tea is served in an original and unusual way, on one side a beautiful steaming teapot, on the other a transparent glass and a flower of tea. It takes in the glass containing hot water and then after infusion, it opens into corolla and gives a delicate scent. Homemade ice creams with refined fragrances, an apple pie, praline pie, caramels to Charente-Poitou butter, fruit or chocolate cakes, madeleines allow to complete this excellent range of products which are also available for sale. An address where each one finds cup to its measure.

Go in front of the superb and very gourmet showcase of Little Petits Gâteaux, in the heart of the Ainay district… It is impossible not to push the door after being captivated by all the wonders on display. And in the shapes, under the colors, there is still the best that is inside! At the head of Lyon's most gourmet addresses, Little Petit Gâteaux presents us wonderful cupcakes prepared daily with seasonal products carefully selected by a team of passionate people. A mouthfull of delight ,the cupcakes of the house are available in a dozen flavours - Nutella with raspberry, peanut butter with lemon, carrot with Oreo, not to mention the cupcakes made for some occasions such as these Sundae Cupcakes, these surprising cupcakes cocktail cupcakes or these exotic cupcakes of summer. Possibility to customize cupcakes that become unique pieces. Indeed, the pastries of Little Petits Gâteaux are true artists and their creations are not limited to "small" cakes. For all occasions - birthdays, weddings and other private events - they make the cake of your dreams, layer cakes, giant cupcakes, cheesecakes, magnificent Rainbow cake, Wedding cake and even more original cakes. The shop is not easy to find, but if you have an adventurous spirit and a bit of patience, you will be rewarded with a delicious homemade cherry crumble (like all the pastries in the establishment), a hot, creamy chocolate or a tasty cup of coffee. Tchk is really microscopic, only 11 m², and looks like a doll's house. Inside, it is difficult to accommodate more than 3 people, but the café has a private courtyard.

The most photogenic and at the same time comfortable of the Khan. You are greeted by a statue of the Egyptian icon Umm Khalsoum. In the velvet armchairs, you are watched by amusing portraits of celebrities like the Mona Lisa, depicted smoking perhaps not very legal substances. On the house in front of you, child sized puppets complete this unique theatrical atmosphere. Here you can drink homemade juices or Turkish coffee, just like at home, listening to the sounds that have marked the country.

The address that cheers us up, even on a rainy November day! An authentic melted chocolate bar that's a real treat, even in summer when we're invited to dip our iced eskimo in one of Valrhona's signature melted chocolates. A choice of great chocolate vintages for dipping with your seasonal fruits. Chocolate that can also cover waffles, crêpes, cheesecake... And don't forget topping with an extra layer of deliciousness! Hot chocolate in winter, milkshakes and Patrick Font fruit juices to accompany the chocolate delights. Brunch menu available daily between 11:30am and 2:30pm. Go for it!

For six years now, Papas Sucrés has been pampering us from Wednesday to Sunday, bruncheurs' day! A delightful tearoom in the Ainay district, near Bellecour, to spoil us with delicious products. Cakes made on site by Grégory behind the stove. Tasty toasts, well-composed salads and delicious 100% homemade cakes that give pleasure with every bite. A succession of delights to share. The other dad in the dining room is Jonathan. Snacks at lunchtime, sweet cakes, fresh lemonade and regional fruit juices, creamy hot chocolate with cookies and muffins, delicious homemade waffles, pancakes and, in summer, bubble tea. Sweet (and not just sweet) pleasures.

Between Rue de la Ré and the street of President Herriot, Rue des Quatre Chapeaux is an invitation to take a break in the urban hustle and bustle. An invitation to relax and indulge yourself, as Pimprenelle is open right next to Pozzoli's. It took three months of work so that Pimprenelle -name of one of the fairies which leaned over the cradle of the sleeping beauty- takes on its final form. In your turn, let yourself be lulled by the beauty of this place where you immediately feel comfortable and happy to share delightful moments on a large table within a decor displaying soft colours. A friendly and charming team serves all the seasonal homemade delicacies. Of course, there are teas, more than twenty, made by Comptoir Français du Thé to kick off the day or during tea time. Breakfast, lunch with hot toast, -such as this summer aubergine with goat cheese, another salmon or one with Lyon sausage-, cold toasts -chicken, raw vegetable, Chorizo peppers…- tasty dishes -salmon or duck- and salads, not to forget the soups in winter and all the small cakes to enjoy at any time. Brunch every Sunday. A new tearoom as we like it to be for well-deserved rest and meal in the heart of the city.

Place Sathonay is one of our favourite spots to take a cool break in summer. An air of Provence blows under the big trees and the sheltered terrace of this tea room/glacier/pastry shop makes us enjoy it with discretion and greediness. On the tip of your tongue, it's an address to share to enjoy homemade products: ice creams and sorbets inspired by flavours from here and elsewhere, with creations that never fail to amaze us. Crazy ice cream sundaes. Other pleasures to savour, pastries and other bugnes in season, always made on site. Snack break, crêpes, pancakes and brunch in the same spirit of freshness and quality.

The Cup of Tea is a bookshop-tea room with a lovely terrace and a selection of independent booksellers. Ideal for a cup of tea with a good read. In the charming store, with its wood panelling and subdued lighting, you'll find books and bistro tables, and a staircase leading to a cosy, intimate mezzanine - a well-kept secret! The walls are decorated with monthly changing exhibitions. The tea menu features some forty flavors, many of them oriental and exotic from Lapsang Souchong, India, Kenya and Japan, as well as a variety of aromatic blends of green, jasmine and Hanoi monsoon teas, all served in good-sized teapots. You can accompany it with a few good cakes (tarts, cookies, muffins...). Service is warm and friendly.

The tea lovers meeting on Longchamp Boulevard. Teavora, in addition to offering a wide selection of teas from the 4 corners of the world, offers an exotic and relaxing atmosphere. As soon as we get there, we're invited to take off his shoes and move on the sand. Then choose three different atmospheres, including the Berber tent, but also a décor of the islands or an appointment in India in a tastefully decorated room. Almost 80 teas to taste, infusions, tisanes, but it's not just hot… fresh fruit juice and smoothies too. Home pastries will accompany this moment of softness. For lunch, we'll opt for salads or salads. You can enjoy a trip to the city center.

This chain appeared in 2019 and had some setbacks before finally opening in a brand new location near Amur Timur Square. A good place to stop during a visit of the city in front of a good coffee or a nice pastry. There is a good choice, the products are good and the service is warm and we appreciate the comfortable sofas and the space. We find all the quality of service and welcome that characterized the first Black Bear shops: a rarity in Uzbekistan. A second address has opened at 46 Shota Roustavéli street.

At the bottom of the Cours Franklin-Roosevelt, a discreet address that deserves to be known, a few steps from the Réformés. Behind an attractive frontage, we enter a rather surprising café, with its counter and the smiling welcome of the owner, then a room in enfilade where you can enjoy your coffee, tea or pastry on a sofa or on cushions. A Zen place, which offers teas and herbal teas, ayurvedic infusions and homemade blends, some with CBD. On the pastry side, gluten-free, vegan, classic, all homemade by the chef, just like the quiches and cakes served for lunch. We like to spend a relaxing and greedy moment there.
