Read moreFounded by Claude Izard, the association brings together chefs who are motivated by the desire to safeguard regional culinary traditions, respect for the quality and durability of artisanal gastronomy, in order to guarantee products provided to restaurateurs. Locally, Claude Izard, the president, has created the Conservatory of Artisanal Culinary traditions in the Tarn to develop information from the tarnais and national public in the form of local seminars and seminars on food security and to carry out the inventory of tarnaises flavours. Hence the creation of the "Certification of Services" named "Cuisineries Gourmand". In 2005 the Ministry of Tourism awarded Quality Tourism in recognition of the Global Approach of Gourmandes Gourmandes. Teachers, who are native to this country, animate Spanish language workshops or sévillanes dances for members. It is a sharing, a user-friendly, and also organized courses for teens, painting and plastic arts workshops, in Spanish, for children starting five years old. It is also a festival (Ibéro Andalous de Tarbes and Bigorre) at the end of November, beginning of December in the whole department with exhibitions, conferences, sévillanes dance courses, presentations of Spanish films, shows… A real Change!
