Administration Education Midi-Toulousain

The Rectorat de Toulouse is responsible for implementing the educational policy defined by the government, in partnership with the communes for primary education, the Conseils Généraux for collèges and the region for lycées. More than 60,000 pupils in the Académie de Toulouse benefit from Occitan language teaching, from awareness-raising to bilingual education. Occitan is taught at the Université Jean Jaurès et Paul Sabatier in Toulouse and at the INSPE in Toulouse.
