The themes on offer can be chosen à la carte, including the discovery of Sare and the three Basque provinces. Alexis, who has been a caving enthusiast for over 15 years, takes you off the beaten track into his mineral universe, which holds no secrets. Specialized in caving and canyoning, you'll discover the mountain environment in complete safety, in both summer and winter conditions. His playground is near Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, 50 km from Bayonne. When it comes to canyoning (towards Mauléon or Tardets), aquatic trekking is fun too. Departing from Bordeaux, this superb 54 km cycle path takes you through the beautiful Entre-deux-Mers countryside to Créon. You set off from the summit of the Col d'Ibardin on your pedal-less machine with 26-inch tires in a standing position, and the descent lasts 1h30 with 40 km of autonomy. Light and maneuverable with its 2 drive wheels, the mountain scooter is similar to a downhill mountain bike.

The Nivelle, a European river of 39 km, crosses the Spanish territory and then, in its great majority, the French territory on the communes of Ainhoa, Sare, Ciboure and flows into the bay of St-Jean-de-Luz. Totally classified in 1st category and Index River by the ICES (International Council for the Exploitation of the Sea) and blue axis by the SDAGE (Master plan of Development and Management of Water). With its rich wine-growing and architectural heritage, the commune of Pauillac has linked its various châteaux with an 8 to 14 km hiking trail. The walk is suitable for both pedestrians and cyclists. Departing from the Maison du Tourisme et du Vin, this loop runs along the Gironde estuary, before branching off towards the village of Bages. Then on to Artigues, Le Pouyalet and Anseillan, towards the Trompeloup area, before returning to the starting point.
