With a typically British layout refined by Cabell Robinson in 2003, Hossegor is listed as one of the one thousand best golf courses in the world by the Rolex Book. Shorts, tank tops and jeans with holes in them are prohibited. Gentlemen are also asked to remove their caps or hats inside the clubhouse. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner in summer.

The difficulty of the fairways lies in the variety of greens and tee positions. "A physical and technical golf course, with excellent greens. The driving range offers 2 open positions and 20 grass positions. There's a restaurant on site, with a golfer's menu and drinks available at any time of day.

In Saint-Jean-de-Luz, jaï-alaï is well known. The local club, Gaztenak, founded in 1982, trains youngsters in pelota, specializing in cesta punta in winter and grand chistera in summer. What is a jaï-alaï? It's a fronton where cesta punta is played, with a side wall perpendicular to the frontis, located to the left of it, and a back wall parallel to the frontis. In 2024, the ^40th edition of the International Cesta Punta will take place.
