With two locations in the Panier district, the Vanille Noire ice cream parlour has been a sensation in Marseille for some years now. With its original creations (Beyrouth night, incredible), creaminess and genuine originality, we highly recommend a stopover. The value for money is excellent, and the ice creams and sorbets are handcrafted with passion. An adventure that began during a trip to New York for the creator of Vanille Noire, and continued in Marseille, much to our delight!

The Dromel Ainé House, founded in 1760, is one of the oldest chocolate confectioners in Marseille. A real institution that has become a must for the holidays and Easter but not only. The cocoa beans are selected for their character and flavour. You will also find here coffees roasted on the spot, excellent teas, the inimitable marrons glacés from Corsiglia, candied fruits, nougats, calissons... A real temple of delicacies in the greatest Provencal tradition!

What characterises this bakery is first of all a remarkable welcome and a variety of breads. Every day, there are different breads coming out of the furnaces. Bread in sausage and red wine, figatelli, flax seeds, figs… We also offer very good pastries, but those which must not be missed under any pretext call Royal Chocolate and Chocolate Pear Mousse.

With two locations in Marseille, including the historic Panier, Glacier du Roi has built up a fine reputation over the years. With its production laboratory visible from the store, the emphasis is on the artisanal side of production, with inspiring flavours: turnip, apricot verbena, mango... Sorbets and ice creams are available in scoops and cups, as well as in large quantities with containers so you can take them home with you. The only snag, and not the least, is that the prices are not cheap, being higher than those of other artisanal producers in Marseille. And yet there's an explosion of flavors in these ice creams, which lack a little taste. As for the addition of Chantilly cream, billed at two euros, not to mention the plastic cups which, while attractive, are thrown away once the scoop is finished, it's all a bit clumsy and not too up to date ecologically speaking on the last point. A great success thanks to its location and the many tourists in the area.

Located in the Vaults of Cathédrale de la Major and beside the MUCEM, Gélateria Major is the new gourmet break of la Joliette. You can choose betweeen 29 flavours of ice creams of which some are made with organic milk, to enjoy in cups, pots or cornets, but also pancakes, waffles, coffee, chocolate and refreshements (smoothies). You can also take your ice creams away and taste them while walking or at your home thanks to the isothermal trays. Homemade ice-creams are manufactured by an Italian ice cream maker with 30 years of experience. Recipes which exude Italy, taste the Stracciatella ice cream! Do not miss either the Rocher ice cream, the Coconut-Mint or Mojito... A warm welcome and magnificent view!

Born from the meeting of two adventurers with a love of travel and sweets, this patisserie is a delight. Here you'll find a boutique entirely dedicated to the savoir-faire of Clément Higgins and Aurélie Pauletto. Nothing conventional, just traditional revisited: Marseille-Brest, Frambois'Yeah or Cookie Dingler. It's highly recommended to treat yourself. Probably the most original pastry shop in Marseille. Some of you will recognize the host of the famous M6 show devoted to the best pastry chefs.

It's a scent that leaves no one indifferent and takes you right back to childhood. As you walk past Monsieur Praline's store, your nostrils are flooded with the delicious aroma of these sweet treats, which are also available here in savory versions. A cone of pralines will delight you as you continue your stroll around Cassis. After being captivated by the hotel's beauty, after having enjoyed the hotel's various restaurants, here's a new project, a natural extension of the establishment more in the heart of the village of Cassis. In 2018, the Escaillon brothers decided to create a partnership with Antonio and Luca to offer Casalini ice creations on the port of Cassis. You'll be able to indulge in ice creams and sorbets that have been part of the family tradition for over 60 years! All products are natural and local. You'll find what you're looking for among the many flavors available in pots or cones. Special mention goes to the caramel ice cream with Ardèche butter and Camargue salt, simply delicious.
