Sailing Aquitaine

The Evi Nautika nautical base in Ciboure, one of the oldest sailing schools in the Bay of Socoa (51 years old), offers courses and lessons, and rents out nautical equipment all year round, including 9 Figaro sailboats (ideal for beginners), motorboats and paddleboats. The sailing school is affiliated with the French Sailing Federation. Boards, catamarans and towed gliders are available for hire. Supervised by instructors (DE).

Want to sail the waves? From the age of 8 (accompanied by an adult, otherwise from 16 upwards), courses or leisure activities will be offered here as soon as the warm weather arrives. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, you'll be supervised by qualified instructors. As for the fleet, you can choose from: 35 optimists, 20 catamarans (New Cat F2, New Cat 12 and Hobie Cat 16), 60 sailboards, 20 double-handed dinghies, 15 single-handed dinghies... Enough to test your sea legs!

The Centre Nautique Biscarosse Olympique welcomes you to Latécoère on the south lake and to Navarrosse on the north lake in summer. Here, you can take advantage of the sailing school to learn all year round, the sports school to try your hand at competition, or leisure sailing for those who already know how to sail. Summer courses, lasting from 3 to 5 days and subject to registration, are available for all levels, for beginners or advanced sailors aged 5 and over.

Catabas is a specialist in boat rental in Arcachon, offering sailing and motor catamarans for day, weekend or multi-day charter, with or without skipper, for those who have mastered the art of sailing a catamaran and are familiar with the Arcachon basin. Boats can accommodate from 2 to 21 people. Catabas also offers you the opportunity to organize a private cruise for 2h30 or more, including an overnight stay. Romantic for some, more festive for others, for an EVG/EVJF for example...

Nautical excursions and courses during the school vacations are offered on Optimists from age 6, dinghies from age 8, catamarans from age 10 and windsurfers from age 11. The course comprises 5 sessions of 3 hours each, from Monday to Friday, depending on the tides. Private and group lessons are led by qualified instructors.

Nautilclub is a sailing and boat rental school on the Biscarrosse-Parentis lake. Catamaran, funbord, dinghy, paddle, pedalo, kayak... With family or friends, discover this large natural lake covering 3,500 hectares. The lake water is soft, shallow and sandy. Quick to warm up, it's ideal for learning to windsurf. Whether you're looking for an introductory session, a group session or a private lesson, Nautilclub is for everyone who wants to try their hand at windsurfing.
