It is one of the biggest clubs in Aquitaine, with a fine record of tournament victories, a number of players qualified for the French Championships and even a young 2022 world champion in the under-8 age group! The club has over 200 members and is committed to a policy of training and initiation with the "classes en ligne" project, which enables all the pupils of the agglomeration community, i.e. over 1,500 youngsters, to be educated during school hours. The program includes internal and external tournaments, quick games, giant chessboard games and competitions.

Enthusiasts of all ages and levels come to play, either as a hobby or in organized team competitions. Qualified chess instructors give lessons to members in a variety of formats: group lessons for youngsters and adults, as well as private lessons on request. The association also offers introductory courses for schools.

Open during the week, this club wishes to offer to all a pleasant playing environment, whether you are an amateur or a competitor. Here, you will find three stone playing rooms in which you can practice. Lessons are also organised by a qualified instructor for all levels, from 6 years old: initiation for beginners, improvement and competition for experienced amateurs.
