Where to climb Aquitaine

The Roof is the first bouldering gym in the Basque Country. Bouldering consists of climbing artificial profiles no higher than 4.50 metres, without ropes or harnesses. Falls are received in complete safety on special mats. All you need is a pair of slippers to enjoy this complete physical and mental discipline. This sport cultivates an art of living that gives you a sense of height!

Block'Out is one of the biggest bouldering gyms in France. In all, there's 1,100 m² of climbing surface, 45 boulders and 300 routes of 14 different levels. Experts and beginners alike, from the age of 4, will enjoy climbing up the walls. A team of experienced professionals will accompany you every step of the way. Courses and workshops are available all year round. Block'Out is also a fitness center with sauna and steam room, a bowling alley, an osteopathic practice, a shop and a restaurant.

Bouldering is the ideal way to experience the pleasures of climbing... You don't need a rope or a harness - all you need to get started is a sports outfit and climbing shoes (available for hire on site). You'll discover routes for all levels in a spacious setting, with or without a guide depending on the formula. The fun zone upstairs offers easy routes, slake lines and a relaxation area for several climbers. Those who have already mastered the art can head for the first floor to perfect their skills. Good news: the restaurant is not just for climbers! You can nibble on a burger or a seasonal dish while admiring the athletes from the bay, or even play a game by the stove in winter!

Located at the Cirque d'Anglas, a historic climbing spot in the Ossau valley, the site is easily accessible (at the end of the small road, passing in front of the supermarket, close to the center, on the D918), while retaining its wild character. With a height of some fifteen meters, it now offers 6 new routes for levels 4 and 5, adding to the fifty or so already existing routes. Since the 60s, climbers have attempted to climb the crags at Arudy, making it a training rock before the Ossau cliffs.

The place to be for climbing enthusiasts. Over 600 m² of climbing space, where you can learn bouldering, improve your skills and overcome the laws of gravity. Opening in December 2022, ST Climbing is the result of a meeting between climbing enthusiasts keen to convey that sweet feeling of surpassing oneself. With boulders up to 4.50 m high, regularly renewed, over 7 levels of difficulty, free sessions or courses to suit all levels, there's something for everyone. And there's a snack bar on site to keep you going!

Route climbing, bouldering, fun climbing, children's area... in a 2,300 m² area at Décathlon Village in Mérignac. Rope walls rise to 15 m over 60 lines. In all, there are over 200^3rd and ^8th degree routes and a wide range of climbing aids. In the bouldering hall, there are almost 100 passages, with routes scheduled to be renewed every 5 weeks. Climb Up is aimed at all levels, including the disabled.

This climbing center is accessible from the age of 4, with an adapted course and no age limits, except for a few workshops limited to 1.20 m. Climb the many colorful and fun climbing walls and workshops 8 m high, and once you've overcome your fear of heights, you can complete the 3 challenges on each wall. Hapik is also an indoor high ropes course. Once you've cleared the various obstacles, you can launch yourself into the void on the zip lines. The center also features an augmented reality wall and an 8 m-high vertical slide.
