Completely renovated in 2007, this swimming pool is located in the Grand Parc-Chartrons-Paul Doumer district. It has been designed to comply with HQE (High Environmental Quality) standards, in the choice of materials used for its implementation and in terms of energy and water management. The pool water is heated by solar panels on the roof and treated by an ultraviolet system that dechlorinates it. A forecourt was created following the demolition of its main façade. The first swimming pool in the region to be equipped with a surveillance assistance system to prevent drowning, it is equipped with cameras that monitor the behaviour of swimmers, a 25-metre pool with 8 lanes, a learning pool with a counter-current river and a paddling pool with a playground. The outside area is a green area for sunbathing and sunbathing. Please note that during the short school holidays, the schedules are different. The swimming pool has the Tourism and Handicap label.

A story that begins in 1994... The Hossegor Surf Club aims to promote surfing among young people from 3 years! Under the direction of qualified and passionate instructors, surfers learn efficiently the joys of surfing. Training course, individual or group lessons from 1h30 to 2h, equipment rental... All year long, the school will accompany you on the most beautiful beaches of the Landes, notably in magical spots such as the Central beach, the North beach (historical site of the club) and the White Beach of the Lake where the Stand Up Paddle hut is located.

The Nivelle, a European river of 39 km, crosses the Spanish territory and then, in its great majority, the French territory on the communes of Ainhoa, Sare, Ciboure and flows into the bay of St-Jean-de-Luz. Totally classified in 1st category and Index River by the ICES (International Council for the Exploitation of the Sea) and blue axis by the SDAGE (Master plan of Development and Management of Water). We fish the fario trout, present on the Nivelle and in its tributaries (more than 90 streams). Here, 10/100th or 12/100th line leaders are de rigueur.

On the edge of Lac de Clarens, this bike rental shop is not only highly visible, but also located on the Voie Verte So Vélo and close to other cycling routes. From Casteljaloux, sports enthusiasts and spa-goers alike will appreciate the opportunity to set off on two wheels. Casteljaloux Town Hall invites you to take part in a fun orienteering race around Lac de Clarens. An ideal family activity. Of course, the course can also be run solo. It's a great way to run while having fun and learning something new. With the help of the discovery map, you have to find 12 markers and try to recognize 12 trees and shrubs. Course maps can be downloaded or obtained from the Tourist Office counter.

Long but easy, this loop crosses the moors of Saint-Cyr, Bellevue, Pouchicaut, Luxurguey or Piquemousque, among the many patches of forest in the vast commune of Allons. You pass the Largenté farm before entering the Landes. From bevelled lanes to grassy paths, from sandy tracks to stone paths, under pines and oaks, over bridges over streams, past a dovecote, the route is particularly bucolic.

Piotr and Karo are ceramic craftsmen, and have set up shop in the charming little village of Fanlac, where they not only exhibit their creations, but also offer introductory pottery workshops (and bowl concerts, but that's another story). In a 2-hour workshop, with a limited number of participants, you'll learn the basics of tricks and techniques, and create two beautiful little objects that you'll take home with you.

This 17.7 km, 4.5 hr hike, with its 390 m vertical drop, is ideal for sports enthusiasts and offers a variety of landscapes. You'll hike along the hillsides between the Landes forest and the Garonne valley. You'll come across woods with dovecotes, meadows with Blondes d'Aquitaine cattle, cornfields and panoramic views of Casteljaloux and the Pyrenees on a clear day. You'll see ruined churches and two well-preserved ones: one with a wall steeple in Veyries, the other with a pointed steeple in Sainte-Gemme-Martaillac.

Just 3 minutes from the center of the village of Amou, on the road to Brassempouy, l'Accrobranche Amou is designed for children aged 5 and over, and adults too! Just like on the ski slopes, you'll have a choice of 9 courses from green to black, including 2 100% zip-line courses for thrill-seekers. Groups, even for special events (birthdays, EVG/EVJF, etc.), must book at least 7 days in advance. All equipment is provided. Please note that pets are not allowed on the park. Reservations are highly recommended for individuals.

This campsite has plenty to offer: you can pitch your tent, park your caravan or motorhome, go hiking or cycling, have a drink in the bar or a meal in the restaurant. But what interests anglers most of all is the opportunity to dip their rods in the lake. All they have to do is pay a fixed fee to the campsite owners. This short, easy hike (with a cumulative elevation gain of 200 meters) covers around ten kilometers and offers pleasant climbs and wide panoramic views over the wooded expanses of the Gascony hillsides. On this itinerary, which alternates between grassy and sandy tracks, gravel paths and asphalt driveways, you'll come across a pretty old farmhouse, take a ridge section, pass a charming stream, come across the Château de Malvirade, enjoy a view of the village of Bouglon in the distance... The Joe Bike network is a leader in the rental and sale of mechanical and electric bicycles, with 25 branches (Pays Basque, Landes...). Specializing again and again in guided tours of the Basque country, you can try out the VAE, including the Cargo for family outings, mountain bikes and VTCs. We also offer assisted bike tours and, for the more sporty, a 4-hour hike to the summit of La Rhune to discover the sacred Basque mountain.

The Aviron Bayonnais rugby appeared in 1906. the club won 3 French championship titles (1913, 1934 and 1943). After a long period in the Top 14 (2004-2015), the Aviron went down to the Pro D2 before reintegrating the elite the following year. But a very complicated season got the better of Bayonne's enthusiasm and the Blue and Whites returned to the Pro D2 in 2017. After the 2020 season in the Top 14, the Aviron returned to the Pro D2 in 2021 and the Top 14 again in 2022.

Houeillès also has its own swimming pool. It has been completely renovated. Swimmers can enjoy a 25-meter pool, while little ones can have fun in the paddling pool. There are also various games around the pool, including a slide, swings, table tennis, table soccer and even a refreshment bar. Swimming lessons are available to help you learn to swim or perfect your strokes. All in all, it's a fun, friendly pool that's very popular with local families.

This magnificent loop, which can be split into two or three portions with a number of pleasant variations, gives you a choice. You can opt for a very pleasant, sporty circuit. Or you can take two or three days to discover the area between the hillsides and the Landes de Gascogne. The Cadets de Gascogne circuit starts in Casteljaloux and takes you along picturesque back roads to Ruffiac, Romestaing, Bouglon, Leyritz-Moncassin, Caubeyres and Fargues-sur-Ourbise. The route begins and ends in the forest. In between, it takes in the more rugged terrain of the southern slopes of the Marmandais region, offering sweeping views over the Landes, the Garonne valley and the hills of Marmande, the tomato capital. It's a very rural hike, where you can observe nature and flush out a pheasant or hare as you go. Along the way, you'll come across a number of listed churches and remarkable châteaux, including Malvirade and Moncassin. Few changes in altitude and good road surfaces make this a very pleasant ride, offering you the opportunity in one, two or three days, with a base camp in Casteljaloux, to discover the area in depth, choosing a small restaurant along the way or stopping off at a picnic area for a local snack out of the bag.
