Its initial metal hall was designed by Gustave Eiffel's design office and today it has three central platforms, three shelters, an underground passageway and a level track crossing for the public. GARE SNCF DE BERGERAC

It was built in 1863 by the Compagnie du chemin de fer de Paris à Orléans (PO). It is a passenger station of the TER Nouvelle-Aquitaine network, served by regional express trains. 45 minutes are needed between Le Buisson and Périgueux with two stops, one at Le Bugue, the other at Eyzies-de-Tayac Sireuil. It takes 30 minutes between Sarlat and Le Buisson.
