In the heart of Mauritania, women in the Adrar Oasis had to develop gardening activities to survive the drought of desert lands. However, breeding and culture of these rare parcels of life are not enough for the survival of the community. These women have therefore opened up to tourists access to traditional tents and stone houses and land to make their way of life and the exceptional sites that the desert has to offer. Access is done by Paris or Marseille, and every penny spent is returned to that community.

In Valence the Maison des Têtes, in Romans the Maison du Mouton! Two historic houses, each with its own heritage centre. The Maison du Mouton, one of the oldest in Romans, dates back to the 14th century. Its medieval facade bears witness to several periods of construction and redevelopment from the 15th century onwards. After major renovation work, the end of 2024 will see the opening of the Agglo's Centre d'Interprétation de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine (Architecture and Heritage Interpretation Center), which aims to showcase the Drôme des collines landscape and local architecture.

The Valence Romans Agglo Heritage and Art and History Department occupies the first floor of the Maison des Têtes, one of Valence's most important historic buildings. A new cultural space, the Centre d'Interprétation de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine (Architecture and Heritage Interpretation Centre) provides information on local heritage and offers a new perspective on the area. Permanent exhibition on the Valence Plain, from the Rhône to the Vercors foothills, a museum space dedicated to "Valence, military city" and a temporary exhibition room.
