A vast selection of different nature outings, all with two things in common: the passion of our guides and the exceptional setting of the Baie de Somme. Depending on your tastes and desires, you can embark on a crossing of the bay (from Le Crotoy or Saint-Valery), meet birds and seals, admire the high tides or, for bird lovers, explore the Grand-Laviers bird sanctuary. The Eurovéloroute3 (or Scandibérique) is the successor to the Green Axis. Inaugurated in June 2014, the circuit is a delight for cyclists and riders alike. The Eurovéloroute3 is a tremendous accelerator for the development of tourism in Thiérache and is part of a desire to open up to Europe. This road crosses the department of Aisne, between Hirson and Quierzy, over a length of 109 kilometres. On a wider scale, the route extends from Trondheim (Norway) to Santiago de Compostela (Spain), over more than 3,000 kilometres. Here, you will be in total communion with nature, in the heart of the bocage, following the course of the Oise river. A green lung to be widely frequented!

Le belvédère du plateau de Californie depuis Craonne

Hiking
4/5

A short loop, very low differences and beautiful views: This is what attracts the most reluctant to walk on foot! The promenade we are offering you is evolving on the Chemin des Dames, the flagship site of the First World War. We are very appreciative of the few interpretive signs that go on the course: if history lessons are a little (too) distant, they remind us of the major points. As you will understand, this discovery tour combines the useful to the pleasant, and is strongly recommended for families with children or adolescents.

Tariff: free.

Distance: 2,5 km.

Duration: 1 h.

Difficulty: very easy.

An immense natural estate where you can recharge your batteries alone, as a couple, with your family, in a group or with your horse! In an exceptional green setting, you can sleep in comfortable cottages or try out more unusual accommodation: gypsy caravan, yurt, cabin on the water or the delightful bird house, or even the atypical and surprising water drop. What's more, there are numerous activities on offer, on foot or on the water, not forgetting the equestrian domain, the hallmark of the area.

An enormous building, which has been displaying its 3,000 m² in the centre of Amiens for more than 20 years. Here, you will be able to eliminate the calories accumulated in the same waters as the greatest Olympic champions. Enough to be motivated! You will also be able to take out your ice skates, trainers, swimsuit and tennis racket. There are two ice rinks in the building, which can be transformed into a tennis hall or a handball court from time to time. There is also an Olympic swimming pool (50 m x 20 m) renovated at the end of 2019, a gymnasium, a judo dojo, a weightlifting room and an outdoor stadium with a mini synthetic football pitch. No more excuses for not doing sports!

L’ETANG DU TREFLE

Fishing

It is up to the Pré Notre-Dame on the route of Vic-sur-Aisne to find this trout fishery. Two ponds to fish all her drunk. Here, the rule is a cane per angler for unlimited catches. The house rates take into account the number of abandoned trout: € 5 for a half day entry, € 3 when it is a child. On-site fishing equipment can be purchased. The Etang du Trèfle also has a picnic area for fishermen and their friends, as well as a snack and snack-fries. Throughout the year, animations are programmed: release of large trout, release of trout every hour, night fishing, day and night competitions.

ASINERIE DU MARQUENTERRE

Horseback riding

One of the best places in the Somme to spend an hour or a day in a little paradise where children and animals are king! Here, you can stroke, observe, learn and, above all, enjoy an ultra-pleasurable moment out of time. The rabbits roam, the donkeys wait to be milked so that their milk can be turned into soap, and the kids are a real eye-catcher! There are several dedicated rooms (bees, poultry...), a small store well-stocked with local products and a covered picnic area. Highly recommended!

PATINOIRE

Skating rink

A brand new rink that opened this summer! It is a 300 m 2 synthetic rink located in the great leisure base. It is made of plastic plates processed to promote a certain sliding. An ecological ice rink because there is no need to cool the surface to avoid the cast iron. Another advantage: the surface does not need to be cooled, it can be used all year round.
