Many procedures can now be carried out directly online, on the Town Hall website. Take a look before you go to the town hall. It's also a great opportunity to discover a very comprehensive site, rich in information. Very clear, it will guide you perfectly. As for the rest, the Town Hall teams are at your disposal to answer any questions you may have and to assist you. In terms of architecture, the Unesco World Heritage-listed belfry and the rest of the building, with its Art Deco style tinged with Flemish culture, are well worth a visit.

The village of Labourse has only 2 000 inhabitants, but its history and heritage make this place an interesting point of visit. Although its name comes from Latin - bursa, a thicket - it appears that its origin is Celtic and not Roman, even if there is certain that there is a Roman construction on these lands. Indeed, with the numerous discoveries of the bronze age, Gallo-Roman objects have been found and vestiges attesting to the presence of such a building. Once again, the operation of a mine pit attracted new inhabitants and the village grew from about inhabitants to about two thousand. Since the close of the well in 1968, the village has been able to start on new bases and now benefit from the important architectural heritage of the church and castle.
