In this former fishing net factory, you will learn all about local fishing. The life of men on board a 25-meter trawler is described. To discover: more than 500 animal species, life-size boat reconstitutions, a quiz on fishing techniques, initiation to the design of marine knots, the manipulation of navigation instruments... One-hour guided tours, conducted by former fishermen, are offered every 30 minutes, and even cooking classes. Exciting!

Since the early 2000 s, the Northern Federation has developed its policy around the two major missions assigned to fisheries federations: the management and protection of aquatic environments and the promotion of recreational fishing. In 2004, this PÊCHE fishing school of the Roubaix-Tourcoing Canal won the first national prize for Halieutica trophies from Lyon des Eaux France which rewards its actions to raise public awareness of the protection of the aquatic environment through the practice of angling. The slogan of the house? " Fishing is not just for boys! " The tone is a nice school that attracts more practitioners. On the occasion of the 2010 Heritage Days, the city of Roubaix, a city of art and history, brought to the honour its canal by producing a virtual exhibition: The Canal/A Roubaisienne, presented since September 2010 on the digital library of Roubaix, from the collections of the library and municipal archives. The result is an exciting interactive document, on the history but should the topicality of the canal de Roubaix, to look on its screen, with photographs of archives and a very interesting chronology of this canal, its construction, navigation, fishing… You can also download and print a small document that summarizes history. Located not far from the city center of Wormhout, the "Etang des tTois sources" is an ideal place to go and fish for gudgeon or trout (in a very regulated environment). This leisure center, located in the grounds of an old farm, also offers a few walking paths and picnic tables to eat, whether alone or with the family. Blangy-sur-Ternoise is a charming town in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region, located between Arras and the beaches of Berck. In the heart of this region, you'll find the 3-star Le Pré Saint-Gilles campsite. This family-run campsite welcomes you to a vast wooded park with fishing ponds. You can stay in a camper van, tent or caravan on shady pitches, or in a comfortable mobile home with wooden terrace and lawn garden. The campsite has an aquatic area with a heated, covered swimming pool, a bar-brasserie, children's games, sports facilities and family leisure activities. Fishing enthusiasts will be delighted with the trout and whitefish runs. The campsite is open from early April to mid-October. From 9am to 12:30pm and from 2pm to 8:30pm. Blangy-sur-Ternoise is also an ideal starting point for discovering the Pas-de-Calais department and its many activities.

A Rémy (near Vis-en-Artois), a small village situated between Arras and Cambrai, 25 km from Douai, Bapaume and Cambrai, come discover, in a beautiful green setting, the Sens sources, which guarantee impeccable water. You will find a collective pond of 3000 m 2 and five private trout fishing courses, to be practiced by day or half day, once a month of large trout of 3 kg are dropped. There is a possibility to improvise a picnic between friends or family, barbecues are available and games are open to children. The fully renovated bar will allow you to restore or defend yourself, some products of the sea are also on sale because the exploitation itself carries out reproduction, nursery and magnification.
